Scope is spectacular, only downside was on supplier / Amazon side
Scope is great. Zero issues there. They did NOT include the quick detach scope mount pictured. Amazon kept bumping back the delivery date.

Awesome scope
I’ve been around a lot of thermals for the price I think it’s Awesome if you are new to the thermal scene I wouldn’t shy away from this scope.

False advertising
2 photos clearly show a quick disconnect mount but that’s not what comes with it. It includes a standard mount so except to spend another 100 for the qd mount.

Pulsar talion Great scope
The Pulsar Talion is one of the best thermal scopes in its price range. It delivers impressive image clarity, solid range, and a lightweight design. The one-shot zero feature makes sighting in quick and easy. For anyone looking for a reliable, affordable thermal optic, this talion is highly recommend by me. .

Excellent
The XG35 is absolutely fantastic. It works great, multiple hunts. Is light enough you can use as a handheld scanner with QD mounts.

PULSAR TALION PROBLEMS
I am on my second Talion XG35 and getting a refund on this one. The first one would go off (blank, dark) after every shot. I returned it and received a new one. I checked to make sure it had the updated batteries, it did. After the third shot it turned off. I shot it 3 more times with the same results. I did try both batteries.I called Pulsar and they said there were problems with the batteries and the battery compartment lock. I have read about people putting tape behind their batteries to maintain contact under recoil. But on a brand new scope?I shoot a .308, but Pulsar said recoil wasn't the problem and they could handle .338 Winchester. How confident can I be with a scope, that even when repaired, uses a faulty designed battery and battery compartment. The whole design looks Rube Goldberg. Now wonder there has been a big sale on them. I bet that they have a re-design going.

One of the best budget friendly thermal optics!
I bought a Talion XQ38 several months ago. I bought it as a buddy scope (scope for a friend to use when they don’t have one).We mainly focus on hog eradication. We have had it out in a good number of hunts so far. It has a 2.5 power base mag and a great field of view. The 384 core processor allows you to identify hogs fairly easy at about 500+ yards away. You are able to see much further but the realistic distance to be able to ID an animal such as a 150 lb hog is around just over 500 yards. However, we have been able to ID groups of pigs using the scope at over 1,000 yards on several occasions. It has a much slimmer design and body than that of the thermion, if size is an issue for you. The battery is advertised to last up to 9 hours. We usually run it around 7 hours before we change out batteries. Not because it’s dead but because we always like to keep the scopes with plenty of battery life in the event we have to stalk a group. If you’re looking at wanting to get a quality thermal optic at a decent price then the XQ38 Talion is definitely worth checking out.
