I got the "Type G" for a Malaysia work trip. With "universal sockets" becoming more common, adapters like this are needed far less. That said, I did need it one time, and it paid for itself in that one time of need.It is solid, plugs in fine, and it does have USB ports, which I did not need and did not test at the time.It's a bit heavy and weird shaped, but that's just because it is well made and has lots of plug in spots. Well worth the money. Recommended.

This European / US power plug adapter is excellent. Very well thought out with plugs for your US plug on the front and 3-sides. This is important because in various tight spots or on a train, for example, you might need to plug in from a different angle. Often on a train I will use the topside plug for example. Also, having 3x USBs, 2x full size and 1x USB-C is perfect. It lets you charge multiple items at once without even having to plug in a separate charger and with all of these plug options and multiple USB ports if you are in a place like a hostel and need to share with this adapter you can. Charging from the USB ports is a bit slower than plugging in your own fast charger but they do work if you have enough time, like overnight. I'm super happy with this and have been using it for 3 1/2 wks now on my 6 wk Europe test so I have put it to the test every day.

This adapter worked great in most places. Sometimes, the size was too big to fit easily into the sockets. It was very handy when connecting multiple devices.

This adaptor worked great during a trip to Scotland. It connected securely to the wall sockets and allowed me to charge my phone, camera, etc with no issues. I previously had an adaptor that had more than the one style of adaptor prongs, but that caused it to be larger and heavier and sometimes it would sag away from the wall. This one did not. Very satisfied.
