SyntraxNutrition Matrix, Sustained-Release Protein Blend, Bananas & Cream, 5 lb

I’ve been obsessed with fitness and bodybuilding for over 20 years. I’ve tried dozens of different brands and flavors of protein powders over the years. I know Syntrax is a quality company, so I switched to this protein from another product/brand. I love this stuff! It tastes good, it mixes really well and it digests really well for me. No bloating or gas. It’s also very reasonably priced! $28 for 2 pounds is amazing for quality protein. I love that it also contains egg white protein as well as whey and micellar Casein I will be ordering lots more and I can’t wait to try other flavors!

I'm gonna be confusing. I'm giving it 5 stars but 3 on here.5 because unbiased, altogether, this is great. No problems with the seller, shipping went smooth, product was great, it blended nicely, & tastes like yummy strawberry milk. No chalky flavor or grittiness. It was really good.3 because biased, I had some issues. Still no problems with the seller or shipping. I'd recommend the seller to others. The product was also goodish. It was smooth & did blend nice. Wasn't chalky & no grittiness. The downside was it tasted like milk. I was expecting more of a cream flavor. Milk tastes gross. I tried adding strawberry/chocolate syrup/powder to tone down the milk but it didn't work.If you love strawberry milk, you'll love this. If you don't like the taste of milk, it's probably not for you. I'd use the seller for something else though.

It tastes amazing. Mixes well(no lumps) & the vanilla taste is not too strong. I like putting fruit in my smoothies & other brands tasted chalky even with fruit & the vanilla didn't mix well with the othwr flavors. I made a blueberry shake yesterday & it tasted great. I'm hooked.

As far as protein powders go, it's a fav - easily blends, full of good stuff. I trust it as someone who tries to be mindful about what they put into their body. A little pricier? Yes, but quality of ingredients is the payoff. Really like the included scoop/bag clip - I keep them attached so I don't have to fish for the scoop inside the packaging or search drawers. As far as flavor...it ain't the full chocolate-y yum-yum you're craving if you're into that (and I am). It's actually pretty mild and a little...boring? Not unpalatable by any means, just not rich-tasting. The Snickerdoodle is the best in my opinion, but wanted to try something different. I mix it with iced coffee for something mocha-y, and/or coconut/almond milk and collagen peptides, with ice or without, no problems with chunks or graininess, mixes real smooth. Overall I FULLY recommend this protein powder, but 'perfect chocolate' might be stretching it, thus the four stars.

Syntrax is a great brand of protein. I have been using for years. The mint cookie is a great flavor. My son uses it to make ice cream with his ice cream machine. Well worth the price. My son (age 17) is obsessed with this product.

I recently purchased the Syntrax Matrix 2.0: Caramel Macchiato flavor, and I was pleasantly surprised by its delicious taste. Initially, I had reservations about the packaging, as it came in a bag rather than a traditional container. However, the included clip proved effective in sealing the bag and maintaining the powder’s freshness.Encouraged by my positive experience, I eagerly ordered the Snickerdoodle flavor. As a cinnamon enthusiast, my expectations were high. Unfortunately, there was a slight discrepancy in packaging; the product arrived in a plastic tub despite the website displaying an image of a bag. While this didn’t affect the product’s quality, it’s worth noting for those who may prefer one type of packaging over the other.In terms of mixability, the powder performed well, blending smoothly without any issues. The flavor, however, did not meet my expectations. Despite some reviews mentioning a strong cinnamon presence and others comparing it to plain vanilla, my experience aligned with the latter. The taste was reminiscent of vanilla with a subtle hint of nutmeg, but the anticipated cinnamon punch was missing. That being said, the vanilla flavor itself was quite good - just not what I was hoping for in a Snickerdoodle blend.While I will continue to purchase the Caramel Macchiato flavor, I won’t be repurchasing the Snickerdoodle variety. It’s a shame, as I was looking forward to that specific cinnamon zest. For those seeking a robust cinnamon flavor, this may not be the right choice. However, if you’re in the market for a vanilla protein powder, this could be an option.Overall, I'm just disappointed.

This blends well in my coffee. I use a milk frothed to blend and it tastes great!
