Is there a replay-ability factor?

Hi - great question! Once you solve the riddles, the Escape element cannot be replayed. However, the puzzle can be re-puzzled.

I’m a first timer to this so my question is, am I supposed to be missing two pieces or did I fail in putting the puzzle together?

The last piece in the solution part of the puzzle doesn't fit. I am not sure if this is mentioned to be intentional to make the answer "stand Out". But other that that we completed the entire puzzle without missing a piece before assembling the "solution". I can only say there were no missing pieces in our box. Hope that helps. In terms of story, is this puzzle OK for kids that are less than 12 years old?

I first put this puzzle together with my 33 year old daughter. it was a fun, difficult puzzle. (If you have pieces missing it might be because you need to figure out where you went wrong and re-work it) I then put it together with my 12 year old granddaughter (I brought it with me when I went to visit). She was faster at figuring it out than my daughter and I had. It's very satisfying to see the answer at the end! Her younger brothers weren't interested at all. I feel you need to know the personalities of the kids to imagine if they might stick this out.

Can you just put it together like a regular puzzle to enjoy the picture, or do you have to play the game?

I gave it to my grandson. He has not yet figured it out. Apparently the pic on the front is not the same as the finished puzzle. You have to figure it out to finish the puzzle.
