Yes, it's chalky, but I haven't found anything that works as good for my heartburn. Works on my worst heartburn every time!

Gaviscon settled our stomachs on short order. Though we don’t use it daily. Only when needed. We find it reliable.

Unfortunately this cherry Gaviscon antacid has an awful synthetic taste.After a couple of weeks I got used to the taste and found that the product actually works well, so I increased my rating.

Easy access

I suffer from Barrett's Esophagus so have to deal with painful acid reflux. I also like to run, which doesn't always agree with my medical condition. A runner gave told me that he pops a couple before a run, so I took his advice and it really seems to make a difference.Cherry flavor isn't bad. The texture is powdery, to the point that it can make you cough when you breath in the powder as you chew on it. Some people may find the texture offensive, but it doesn't bother me that much.Good produce. Recommended.

I was recently diagnosed with GERD. I never actually experienced the heartburn for awhile after the initial diagnosis but now have lately. Nausea was my primary complaint and nothing worked. I took Nauzene which really helps but is only temporary. The Gaviscon is nice for after meals and before bed. I take Zantac to actually help heal the erosion from the acid, the Gavicson to help keep the acid down, and the Nauzene for the nausea. It's actually a good combination. I just hope I don't have to take it for very long and my new, terribly bland, diet will help keep things at bay.
