I have taken these for almost 15 years. I was diagnosed at that time with a very low vitamin D level. These vegan chewable tablets were a godsend to find then, and brought my level up to normal by the next physical. They are easy to chew and I like the mild slightly sweet citrus flavor.

Good price for a whole food vegan supplement; and I definitely feel better taking them; wipes away the S.A.D i get every year when im spending too much time indoors or loading up on the sunblock. Even though nestle owns this brand as long as I feel good using them and the supplements remain whole food and vegan I will continue buying them as I believe it's good for big companies esp ones with shaky pasts to start getting into the whole food vegan movement and i would like to encourage them to do so..it ensures a better future for our planet because like it or not business is business for now and immediate future and big companies like this (who's primary concern is profit) aren't going to die anytime soon so best thing to do is to help steer them in the right direction as far as what they offer to the masses. Garden of Life has always been great for me. After trying out a few other brands for vitamin d i'm coming back to this one because I feel a difference and the supplement form is efficient and palatable (spray version made me cough even if i held my breath for a few second after and the vegan d gummies i got though tasty and identical to candy taste were too sugary sweet first thing in the morning when i'm not at all craving candy or sugary things)

I bought these while recovering from esophageal surgery because I couldn't swallow pills or even take gummies during the healing process. I needed a chewable tablet that would dissolve completely before swallowing, which these do if I chew them along with a sip of water. They do what they need to do. The flavor is fine for what it is... not repulsive and not delicious. It's a pill, not candy. I appreciate that they are organic and vegan and come in a glass bottle. I wish Garden of Life also offered a chewable multivitamin tablet instead of just gummies!

My usual vegan vitamin D supplement was out of stock so I tried this one as everything I've ever used from myKind Organics has been really good quality. These chewables are rather large and chalky. I agree w/the reviewer who pointed out that if you want candy, just buy candy (people have weird expectations with the advent of so many gummy vitamins these days) but for me, personally, it's more convenient to take a pill than to chew this. But I'll continue to use this as my back up for when my usual supplement runs out. For those who might not know: vegan vitamin D isn't just about getting a vegan gel cap or making sure there aren't animal-based fillers; vitamin D itself is almost always sourced from animal hair, bones, bodies. Unless your vitamin D is sourced from LICHEN (like this one!) it's not vegan. Of course, if you regularly get more sun than I do, you might not need to supplement. I do high spf for the face but lower everywhere else unless I'm, like, hiking in the sun or something, to try to up my vitamin D, as I've read our bodies absorb it best from sunshine anyway. Unlike most vitamins, D works a bit like a hormone in our bodies; it's quite interesting if you care to read up on it!

We used these to increase our kiddos vitamin D bc it was so low... So far a year later it raised it from 22 to 37 and that's with sometimes missing some weeks if they're out of stock. So pretty effective! And it tastes pretty decent. Will continue to use.👍🏽

I have been taking these for some months now and have them on auto ship. First, I'll say that for a vegan who spends little time outside, my vit D may be on the low side, but I recently had my D checked and it was perfect, so needless to say, these tablets do the job. As for the taste, I personally don't mind it, I neither love nor hate it, but my kid and my husband both make faces whenever I give them a tablet. they hate it. If you have a sensitive palate, maybe a capsule would work better for you, but I'm gonna stick with these.
