It is hard to find a good chain tool that will not break. I build and refurbish bikes. This one is still going strong after many uses.

Won't last long if you use it
perfect when it was working. The replaceable pin came out and I have been unable to screw it (or the replacement in the handle) back into the barrel. the metal is too soft and I'm guessing the internal threads are damaged. too bad, as I liked how it sat in my hand.

I'm not a pro by any means, I just needed something to shorten a chain. This did the trick. I can't speak to long-term durability, but it worked for what I needed. I like that it comes with a chain hook, that was very useful. It also comes with a little insert showing you how to use it, which was also very helpful.
