Merkur Razors are made in Germany, as they always have been. Their blades are now made in the Czech Republic. I’ve used both. The Czech blades are every bit as good. If it irritates your skin you’re not doing it right. Go to YouTube University or find someone over 55 to show you. I returned to safety razors 16 years ago and never regretted it.

Great replacement blades. They are very sharp and will make quick work of any beard. Extremely thin and high-quality. The sharper the blade the better and these provide the closest of shaves.

Ive tried a few different brands since i started using a safety razor and these are by far the best, cuts clean and close with no cuts once so ever.. ive used the same blade about 4 or 5 times and just switched it to try a different brand, it was still good. I dont have alot of facial hair but the follical is thick. I might get another sampler pack but with these i dont see a reason to try anything else..

I feel bad taking a star off because they are an excellent razor, however they constantly irritated my skin and the price per razor is quite high compared to others.If you have a sensitive face like me, I swapped to persona razors and have had no issues since. Much cheaper and for a 100 pack.I’m sure these are good for people with less sensitive skin, but they’re still pricey per razor.

After using razor blades from different countries, the Merkur Platinum razor blades are my favorite blades. The Merkur blades provide close, smooth shaves and have excellent durability. Make sure to get the Merkur razor blades made in Germany. The German blades come in a small white plastic carton. There are Merkur razor blades made in the Czech Republic that come in small paper carton that are inferior to the German razor blades. German-made Merkur blades are available from razorbladesclub.com. Feather blades from Japan are very sharp but can be tough on your skin, and they are not as durable. Merkur Platinum razor blades provide a good balance between sharpness and smoothness and have good longevity.

Best blade out there. I prefer the packs that have a pocket to dispose of used blades but it's not critical. Individually wrapped blades last a long time and provide a silky smooth close shave without biting or burning. Don't know how they do it, but I've tried the other premium brands and Mercur is the best of the best.

Don't be fooled by the positive reviews and pictures saying this is a 10 pack of 10 - it's not. This is a solo pack of 10 blades, which turns out to about $1 a blade which is incredibly expensive.Also, the product info is wrong - it says made in Germany (where Merkur razors are made) but the blades themselves are made in Czechia and clearly state so on the package.Look elsewhere.
