Nice design
As far as the product it is a nice design. I haven't had a good rain storm yet to judge the "waterproof" claim but I'll update my review after that happens. It is a great concept I will see how the materials stand up to "New England" weather. For right now it is great to put the car away after a good "detailing session" and know that when I take it out again the car will be as clean as when I put it away.Customer service is second to none! I lost a part that I know I had when I unpacked everything. I believe I accidentaly threw it out with the empty boxes. Edward from customer service was very nice and has shipped out a replacement part free of charge!I did add some pipe insulation to the bottom of the carport to protect it from the driveway and a few pieces inside so when I open the car door it won't hit one of the pipes. I don't have a garage so its nice to have a place to protect my 2015 Miata!Update after several rainstorms. I found that the original top I have is not 100% waterproof but is so close to being 100% waterproof that I would still recommend it to someone who needed a storage area for their car. I will explain:After a few rainstorms some water, a tiny amount, did get though the top. It was such a small amount that I’d compare it to a four or five “eyedropper” fills of rainwater if you can imagine just how little an eyedropper would hold. I was still disappointed because I was hoping for a 100% waterproof top.I talked to Edward at customer service, and he was extremely helpful. I wish every company I had to deal with was as good as he was. He said that sometimes under certain conditions the sewn seams can be stretched and that can cause a small amount of water to get through. He said that they take this very seriously and that they would make things right and they did. Edward sent me a new top!I decided that since the original top was already so close to being 100% waterproof that I would work with it and see if I could get it 100% waterproof on my own. So, I added some rubberized “roof tape” that is self-sticking and white in color and applied that to the seams where the Velcro is sewn in. The next rainstorm, which wasn’t that heavy came through and the next day there was ZERO water on my car. I will note now that I keep a conventional car cover on the car when it is inside the carport for an extra layer of protection so throughout all my “testing” my car has never actually been touched by water.A week later the next rainstorm came through our area, it was very heavy, within less than an hour we had almost an inch of rain. It was coming down like a tropical storm. I checked the inside of the carport and this time a tiny, I’m talking tiny amount of rain came through, less than the first time. So my roof tape helped a little bit.Next, I applied a waterproofing liquid to the outside of the carport. I concentrated on just the areas around the Velcro where I applied the roof tape. After another very heavy rain even less drops of rain got through. I plan now on coating the entire exterior with this “marine” based product. Can’t say the name here but you can buy it on Amazon. I think that I will succeed in making the original top completely 100% waterproof. The top that Edward sent me will stay in the box till springtime. I’m in Massachusetts and our winters can be very severe. I want to stick with the original top and see how it survives a New England winter. I will have the new cover as a “back up” for next spring if needed.I would recommend this product, when you consider the price even with the tiny amount of water that originally got through it is still worth the price. My new “spare” top may already be 100% waterproof without all my extra efforts that I am trying on the original. And the simple fact that Edward sent me out a new top show that you can’t beat their customer service.Still 5 Stars!

Sturdy and easy to set up
Waited a bit before reviewing this, as I wanted to see how it held up. Putting it together was pretty easy, just repetitive but no issues with the fit and finish and no missing parts. I got the top on by myself, did take a bit of wrangling but it is easily possible to do it with one person. We have had a few good rains and one pretty major storm since I put this in, and it looks just as solid as when it was done. Sheds water very well and holds up to moderate (25mph) winds so far. Would recommend putting some stakes in for the base. I used some corkscrew like dog leash stakes, four of them on the central base, to keep it from moving. So far that's working. Not sure if it needs cement to secure it as some have said, but we don't get super strong winds here (PNW).Overall very happy with it. Keeps the leaves and pine needles off of my car. Not for large cars necessarily, but does have a decent amount of room (I have an old VW Beetle), and very nice to be able to lift up either the front of back (or both).Feel like this does a nice job of keeping the elements out, fairly easy to set up, and seems pretty sturdy so far. Would definitely recommend.

I love the product so much I bought another one!
This is my 2nd Ikuby Carport system. The first one I bought more than a year ago and as you can see in the photo, it held up well. I love that it doesn’t touch your car and it protects it from the sun, rain, pollen, tree saps and dust. It has two screened windows on each side which allows air to circulate on those hot days but can be closed on those rainy days (I always keep them open). You can easily open the carport from either front or back or both (so you can easily pass through it if needed). If you need to lock it you can use the provided lock mounts but you need to drill them to the ground. It is easy to install, one can do it but it helps a lot when there are two of you as the frame is pretty big. Don’t forget to anchor it to the ground (hardware is provided but you will need a masonry drill bit and a drill if you are anchoring it to a concrete driveway), my first one went through some really heavy winds and it survived them ok.I bought the medium size first and it can easily fit large cars and crossovers easily. But for my second one I purchased the Large one and it is so big that there are lots of extra space in front and back of my car.I think this is the best solution out there right now to protect your car from the elements when a permanent structure is not possible. It is portable, removable and light. I obviously would recommend it as I bought my 2nd one.Issues? The first one I bought did not have any issues during assembly, the 2nd one there are a couple of holes that did not line up but nothing that a drill did not fix. Also after a year outside, you start to see some molds develop on the inside part of the car port as expected on anything that is exposed to moisture outside so you just clean it with some mold spray and that takes care of it. Other than those it really just do what it’s supposed to. It is a great product, it is not cheap but I think it is worth it.
