Yes i just received this today. in the description it said show where to grip the handle up to 34 inches. i coach all ages. big problem. ????

The instructional insert that is included with the Rope Bat explains that batters who use a 33" or 34" bat should hold the end of the grip. I hope this information is helpful.

What is the diameter of the cylinder on end. Is it the same as a bat? It appears to be only 6" long.

It is the same as a bat 2-3/4” diameter. It also is not as long as a real bat, it is meant to simulate the sweet spot of a bat. After really working with my daughter more with it I bought enough to outfit my entire tournament team and I am having really good results. I highly recommend using this to develop a good swing for youngsters!!!

How long is this product from knob to end of barrel?

It is 30 inches long. However the rope bat theoretically only goes to the sweet spot and doesn't have the barrel end. I have a high schooler 33' and a ju ior high 31' that use it. There is an adjuster on handle to equal your typical bat length.
