Which foot pack do i need for a 2020 subaru outback? do i need a fit kit too? which one? i'm using this for a roofnest sparrow rooftop tent. thanks!

I have a 2020 Subaru Outback using the 50" Wingbars, The correct foot pack is the "Thule 460R Rapid Podium Foot Pack" to attach to the existing cross bars, (IN THE STOWED POSITION) and the "Thule Fit Kit KIT4063" is required. Keep in mind the maximum spread is limited to 24" with this configuration and the weight limit is also an issue. I do not think you can use this setup for the roof top tent. I only use this setup for my Thule Hullavator, it works great for that. For what you want I do not think any existing standard rack will do the job. You probably need a custom rack installed with drilling into your roof. I would recommend "Rack Attack" they have locations in many states. They should be able to do a complete custom installation to suit your needs. This will involve drilling into your roof. The Subaru system is great for most people, making things easier. But for your situation and needs it actually makes things harder.
