Simple to install.

This is a nice addon for the IIWEY N5 dash-cam as it allows use of the 24-hour monitoring feature not available if you use the included cigarette lighter power cord. This unit adds functionality where it monitors if your car is on or off (using of a wire connected to a constant power source and one to an accessory power source. The kit comes with 4 sets of connectors and fuse types which should match any car's current setup. The unit's installation is straight forward. It's unfortunate this unit is not part of the initial camera; however, for just a bit more money, it appears well made and worth the price.

Should definitely get with the camera

Seems to be working fine. This was optional for the camera I used and was easy to install. Can be customized to fit just about anything that might need power with your key off or remote not present.

Not bright enough

Not near as bright as u make it seem. Also trying to get it to show on the floor board is hard. Keep it low and in sight otherwise there is no illumination.

This kit was easy to install and included everything needed.

Would not buy again

Worked well for a few weeks,then started shorting out. Found that the black box online was not allowing consistent flow of reduced electricity to camer. Switched to cigarette lighter plug-in camera works perfect. This happened after return date.
