When these lights arrived they were much smaller than l imagined. Once installed by a qualified electrician, however, they proved to give an excellent light with a very wide arc thanks to the two adjustable bulbs. Perfect for my situation and very versatile. Would definiltely buy again.

It's not often I leave reviews, as it's too time consuming! But this light is worth a review. I was receiving complaints from neighbours, that my previous security light was shining into their windows, as it as fixed. This light allows you to angle the beams down (manually when you fit the light) ... it also allows you to dim the brightness from your phone, to avoid the light being too bright at night ... and when it's full on - it is VERY bright! A brilliant product. Definitely recommended.

Update: 19.11.24.Over six months ago the app stopped working. Having reached out to customer service eventually it was fixed. The lights still worked but we just couldn’t use the app. Having received a free replacement everything worked as it should again. Some better instructions and troubleshooting would be useful in app or online.These seem good for the price. No main issues so far with performance. What is really annoying is that if a cat goes by and sets the light off, it’s considered as a human. There should be a way to set lights by sise of animal or human. Other than that, it’s annoying to have yet another smart app, but so far so good. I guess the real test will come in the winter.

Easy set up, a little challenging with a tight cable termination space, but got there in the end

Bought this product in June 2025, paid a professional electrician to install. Worked for two months, then stopped working, followed instructions to attempt to get it working again which failed. Just had to get the electrician back to check, but it is unrepairable! Do not buy this product. Items like this should have at least a one year guarantee which you get if you purchase in store. Lesson learned.

Really impressed, hooked it straight up to app, it now links to Alexa and Google so I can just say, "turn on the garden light" good brightness and fairly straight forward to wire in, may need a bit of fiddling around depending on the surface but not too difficult, highly recommended.

Purchased 2 of these. Initially had a connection issue. Contacted customer service and they replaced both units. Excellent service

I used this for a voice activated drive illumination as a PIR function would mean it would turn on with every passing car or walker. Idea being as I approach home I ask for the light to come on. A straightforward install tbh, though be careful to silicone seal the unit to a wall of outdoor protection. This aspect is poor in design but easily rectified. Setting up for operation via Google home was easy for the primary account. However, setting it up for my wife's Google account was difficult. It's possible to share the aidot device account with my wife but for her to link it to her Google home is not possible. So when I approach my drive I can simply say 'g.. turn outside light on' but this is not available to her as a second Google account. A bit of a flaw tbh. Not spoken to customer service yet as it's the holidays but will chase up and amend if I have this incorrect.This is a simple/ useful first step in to home automation and well worth the price.
