Omnipod didn’t stick to the patch

So the omnipod is supposed to go on top of these patches, but all three times I tried it, the omnipod kept unsticking from the patch. I had to keep pushing it down every 10 minutes or so the omnipod was basically hanging on by the cannula, which REALLY stung. Not to mention it doesn’t do what it says it does. My skin was just as irritated when I took it off as it is when I take the omnipod off. I do have sensitive skin, but these are advertised for people with sensitive skin.

Works great

This did a described. My skin did not get irritated and the quality was great so for that I loved it. However my Dexcom did not stay stuck. I can’t blame the barrier because it did like it was supposed to and as described. I would recommend.

Pod doesn’t stick to it, and it doesn’t stick to you

I’ve been wearing it for 12 hours, and it’s already falling off. And the pod is coming off the pad. This is after thoroughly shaving and cleaning my skin.Other than the fact that it doesn’t work at all, it’s pretty good.

Worked well for me in terms of skin irritation, tried so many prior.

The pod sticks well to the patch, at first it didn't but I use overpatches anyways and it fixes this. The best way to get them on is to peel the omnipod sticker before you apply and press it down very well onto the patch. Then you can apply the omnipod with the patch and it works great, haven't had any issues wince doing it this way. The product also does not give me any skin irritation which is fantastic considering many adhesives have irritated my skin prior.

TOO SLIPPERY! My pod fell off within the hour... TWICE!

I only have so much skin & I need to protect it. Medical adhesives are so harsh. I tried these under my pod. The first one slipped, I thought it was my placement, at $XX a pod, I can't afford to lose one! I held it in place with medical tape. The second time I used one, it slipped off within the hour. I struggled with re-using the insulin inside... a FULL tank! (I had to toss it out). Sadly, I can't use this product, probably can't return it either (used medical supplies). I don't recommend this product.

Omnipod comes right off

Used for the first time and pump came off within two hours, waiting pump and almost full dose of insulin. Sticker still stuck to skin, but Omnipod did not adhere to it well enough to remain attached. I did rub edges of pod adhesive well and firmly pressed to make sure there was full contact.Buyers Beware!!!

Dont buy this

The theory behind these under-patches is great. In practice the top of the patch is too slippery and the omnipod keeps falling off. I've lost three, almost new, pods to these under patches. To use this you MUST find some way of securing the pod to the patch. I ended up having to use medical tape to hold the pods onto my skin, completely negating the benefits of the under-patches. Ultimately, the pods and insulin is too expensive to keep replacing pods every hour or two.
