Sadly this corkscrew has broken after only a few uses.
Sadly this corkscrew has broken / come apart after only a few uses. I dont know how robust this is supposed to be but in my good lady's hands the upper and lower parts have separated (unscrewed). I would have returned it but the corkscrew part was lost (probably put in the bin while still in the cork?). Looking at the upper part of the unit the threads were clean (no weld or threadlock) so it was always going to happen, I had one of these Alessi corkscrews for ten years without trouble, is this one a copy?

Can be a little frustrating - don't let that put you off!
A nice item to have - perhaps essential - for the Alessi collector. Possibly one of the most beautiful corkscrews ever conceived. Does it work? - Yes, it does. But it can prove a little tricky to remove the cork from the spiral screw unlike regular corkscrews of this type. On the positive side, great for a gift sure to impress and very well made. It's well balanced and feels great to hold...…..but can prove a little frustrating at times. Do I regret my purchase? - Not at all. Do I always use Anna G when I need to de-cork a bottle? - No. I turn to my trusty old regular corkscrew because it's just less faff. That said, I still love it!

It’s expensive but it is well made and looks great so after having many corkscrews that have broken I’m not disappointed.

Not worth the money
Looks very nice, but looks very cheap too, really not worth the money, looks abit like a cheap novelty gift, very disappointed, usually love everything alisse make, but this feels cheap, and squeaks when you turn the head, if I saw it in a shop I wouldn't pay above £7 for it, abit disappointed

Non posso fare una recensione sull'utilizzo dell'oggetto che sarà come tutti gli altri, ma essendo stato regalato per completare la collezione dei cavatappi Alessi sicuramente è un pezzo di design. Spedizione e consegna sempre al top.
