Q: what is the difference between milled and seeds

Milled is ground fluxseed...if the seeds are not milled the whole fluxseeds outer shell will not allow it to be digested i.e. you will not get any benefits from taking it. If you want to get benefits from fluxseed the seeds have to be firstly milled/ground.

Q: Why use in 45 days? I have half a packet 6 weeks old is it ok

Once the packet of milled flax seed has been opened it is best to store it in a refrigerator. The top of the packet needs to be folded over a couple of times to exclude most of the air and then held closed with a couple of clothes pegs or a metal hair clip. If you do this then it will keep fresh and last for perhaps a couple of months or more.. If you don't seal it and only keep it room at temperature then the flax seed will deteriorate and taste bitter. The packets I purchase contain 425 grams, the recommended portion size is 30 grams so normally in 14 days the packet is empty and have with a recommended helping of 30 grams so in 14 days the

No Linwoods flaxseed is not grown in China. Raw materials are mainly sourced from Europe and Canada. The product is milled and packed in Northern Ireland.

Take vitamin B complex. And zinc. (Lidl has the correct rda in theirs). Helped me immensely.

Good quality product, if not a bit overpriced.I add this to porridge and soups etc to up fibre my intake. The taste is palatable, but there's a fine line where a little too much overpowers everything else, and an unpleasant flavour overpowers all else.
