Heated Eye Mask - Microwaveable Moist Heat Compress for Dry, Itchy Eyes & Styes - Purple

It turns out the grittiness in my eyes is due to partially blocked oil glands. No amount of eye drops cleared up my situation of waking to grittiness, and sometimes intense pain, from natural forming crustiness that was flushed off by younger eyes. Ophthalmologist recommended washing my eyes with baby shampoo (genius!) and using a "sock of rice warmed up in the microwave for 20 seconds" over my eyelids for 10 minutes 3-5 times a week. This eye mask is perfect for the job, and shaped better than a sock. The plush side is very soft, and the elastic band holds it in place where it can do the job. I have to move the seeds inside around a little, but that is minor factor. Highly recommended.

I've had a Covid eye infection for it seems like a decade. I use hot water packs every morning, but still have the blasted infection.Doc suggested i spend $40 for eye patch. I went with lowest price.The first night i used this product i heated it up for 40 seconds then put the mask on for 5 min and dreamed of eating breakfast cereal (heated flax seed). My eyes were soaking wet! I squeezed out eyelids and put on medicine. My eye infection is already down 50%Why spend more?

I really like this mask. It has an adjustable strap, making it fit very comfortably. The cover is removable and can be laundered (I would recommend hand washing.) The only slightly disagreeable thing about this mask is the odor of the flax seed when heated. You must remove the insert to heat it, due to the zipper on the cover. If you heat it with the cover, you may get arcing in your microwave from the zipper pull. I like the different materials on either side of the mask. I preferred the fuzzy side when I heated it and the silky side when cooled. I would recommend this item to family and friends, especially anyone suffering from migraine headaches, or Sjorgren's syndrome.

Ordered this mask because it was priced below many other offerings. It looked nice and seemed to be what I needed. I was advised by my eye doctor to put heat on my eyelids twice a day for 10 minutes. You know a heated washcloth will never hold the heat that long, but this flaxseed mask works great. When the mask arrived, I was pleased to see it came in a zippered case for safekeeping and travel. Thirty seconds in my microwave was all it needed. The cover for the flaxseed insert has two fabrics, one silky and the other a short furry velour. Plus there is an elastic head band which I have not needed. Great value for a useful item.

As someone who needs to apply heat packs to my eyelids every day for medical reasons, I can highly recommend the Meisen Home microwave heat pack. It is super soft and doesn't overheat, like my old one. It has a gentle warmth that is very pleasant to use. It also came with a cute cloth pouch to keep it in!

I am so happy with this. It is very comfortable and easily adjustable to your head size. I fell asleep the first time I used it as it was so soothing. I also like that there is a great little bag to keep it in. Will be terrific for travel. Highly recommend!
