My favorite rice steamer by far! It cooks perfect rice in a short time and is just the right size for me. Best of all, it has a stainless steel pot which I use exclusively. I have given one as a gift to a relative now more are asking for one!

I grew up with rice cookers and they were made out of aluminum. They did not have non stick then. I do not like using aluminum or nonstick. I’m so happy to find this stainless steel pot.People that complain about rice sticking must be new to rice cookers. You always let it sit a while to cool (just a little while) and finish cooking after it turn off. Once it’s cooled a bit but still warm it does not stick to the bottom. And you don’t even need to oil it. If you want to put a little olive oil on it you can to add extra flavor but it’s not necessary.This is a great rice cooker. If you use it right you won’t be disappointed. I have had this one now for over a year. I decided to write this review because it doesn’t deserve the people’s low reviews because the rice sticks. They just don’t know how to cook rice with it.

So far so good. The inner pot is heavier compared to non stick pots. Rice WILL STICK if you keep it plugged in for a long time after it has cooked. However, it is easier to clean if left to soak in hot water for sometime. I would not recommend putting it in dishwasher. Hand washing will prolong the life of the pot. Also won’t recommend using any strong abrasive pads to clean it. I have also cooked Quinoa on it and it cooks perfectly. Sticky rice WILL STICK, so use proper judgement. For anyone complaining about water splashing out, I usually leave the lid off until water has come to a boil and reduced down to half, then I simply put the lid on and voila! No splashing issue! If water to rice quantity is high then ALL rice cooker with this lid will have splashing issue. I am an asian and have used Rice Cooker all my life so I can vouch that is a very common issue. Just leave the lid off until water has reduced by 50% and then simply put it back on and rice will cook just fine (use your best judgement to see the water level though, as too little water may result in uncooked rice)

I have had a few rice cookers and always go with the Aroma with this control switch. Does everything you need, nothing you don’t. I liked the red and stainless at a glance but the teflon ones clean so much easier. It is totally worth having to replace teflon more often to have the ease of simply wiping out rice residue after use. The stainless requires soak. I will be looking for teflon replacement bowl.

The stainless steel insert is the showcase of this handy little rice cooker. I use it for wild rice, which takes about 1 hr to cook. I have not had any issues with boil-overs or burning. To prevent sticking. I add a thin drizzle of evoo before adding rice & water.The light switches from red to orange when cooking is complete & the unit goes into ‘keep warm’ mode. The glass cover with vent hole is perfect. The included flattened spoon fits right into either handle, which is really convenient. This is small enough to sit on my counter, always handy. Wild rice is a staple, here. yummy 😋Three cups capacity is just right for 1 or 2 people. The price is fabulous.I would love a buzzer added to alert me when cooking is complete. Also, an ‘off’ switch would be nice. As is, as soon as I plug it in, the heating plate turns on, so I have to add rice & water, then plug it in.All in all, this is the best small rice cooker I have owned. Definitely recommend this.

This cooker is well made of excellent quality. The removable pot is quite heavy and made in high-grade stainless steel. It's not coated so the rice sticks to the pot slightly. This is expected because it's not coated with unhealthy nonstick coating and that's the main reason why I bought it. I noticed when the cooked rice stays in the pot on keep-warm mode longer, the rice sticks more but if you scoop out the rice right away, it barely sticks at all. This is a small size cooker but not too small like a mini and it's perfect for single or couples. I cooked 3 cups of brown rice and it comes out perfect, and no spills whatsoever. I love this cooker's quality, size, and cheerful red color. I'm very happy with it, and thanks to Amazon for the speedy delivery! 🥰❤🍚👍
