Vicious Kings (The Dark Elite Book 1) Kindle Edition

This book is raw and definitely thrilling.. still a lot of mystery to unfold and more lusty scenes to come. Definitely a YA read or older.

This was a good start to the series. The FMC, Grace, was no push over. She had a history with the men, but she's smart enough to know that won't save her. Hale was perfect. Growly, conflicted with a soft spot for Grace, and the weight of familial obligations on his shoulders. The twins were OK, and Ciro my heart just broke for him and I wanted so much more of him and Grace. The plot wasn't overly complicated, but it did provide a good back drop to let the relationships develop and take center stage. It moved along nicely, but did leave a number of questions and plot holes that hopefully will be addressed in future books. It was a quick, easy read that provided a nice balance of relationships, spice, and plot.

The twist was a nice addition to this fast paced read. I enjoyed the characters and can't wait to see the further development.

3.75 ⭐ 1 🌶Good first book in the series. This book is definitely about building the plot and getting to know the characters. The isn't much spice but what does happen is well written. I do wish there was more backstory to Grace and why the left and things but perhaps that will be in the next books. Overall good book, would recommend!

Ok, confession: I usually hate Mafia books. I don't like how depraved so many of them can get. But I took a chance on this collection because I read the Blessed Academy books, and I'm a sucker for reverse harem. I can start out by saying very clearly that this series is NOT dark. There's no rubber sheets for love scenes, no BDSM, no one rolling in the blood of their enemies while they make love. But, that being said, there is definitely an element of revenge/suspense that rolls through most of book one. Secondly, one reader who has a lot of "likes" said that this book is only s.ex scenes. I honestly don't get that at all. That's not what I read, and in fact, the scenes are a slow burn, and then take place with a LOT of action/suspense and nitty gritty Mafia alliances happening.The book begins with the girl being kidnapped from her own wedding by 4 men she used to be besties with when they were teenagers. They were her first taste of love, and her biggest protectors. But now, for reasons... they think she's bad. And they volunteered to kidnap her back to their mansion and keep her under wraps while they torture her for info. But of course, there's no torture, unless you consider being tied to a bed frame and having an old boyfriend finger you while another one watches torture. And so the games begin.This first book ends with most of the revenge and mixed motivations gone from our group. The girl is integrating into the home and the guys are falling back in love with her. She is torn between feelings for her fiance and hoping he'll save her, versus not trusting him and hoping her men will protect her from him. Mafia alliances are tested and you're prepped for book #2, not knowing who to trust in the Syndicate, or even surely if they can trust each other.

Vicious Kings is a great introduction to Grace, Hale, Ciro, Zaid, and Lucas. It is a reverse harem, dark mafia romance. Grace and the guys have grown up together as part of the Novak Syndicate. Until Grace is forced to runaway and live in hiding with her father as a teenager after her mother is murdered. All Grace wants now is to live a normal life and she tries to forget the boys she grew up with, even going so far as to marry a man that she only somewhat loves. When her wedding day goes horribly wrong, she ends up getting kidnapped by the same boys (now men) that she has been trying so hard to forget.I really enjoyed the chemistry between all of the characters and there was soooo much sexual tension in this book. I also really liked the mafia elements and I’m excited to see how this story plays out in the next books. I will say that I would have liked to see a little bit more backstory and emotional connection between all of the characters so hopefully there will be more in the next books. Definitely recommend checking out this series if you like RH and mafia romance!

This is book one of The Dark Elite series and will continue in book two so be prepared for a cliffhanger ending. Grace's father fled with her six years ago after her mother died and she thought she made the best of her new life. When her old life and new life collide with deadly consequences Bra e doesn't know who she can trust. The four guys from her past, Zaid, Luke, Hale, and Ciro take her captive and she's not sure what they want from her. Can her finacé, Brain save her or is he only looking out for himself?

I love Eva and her series because there is so much push and pull between players and yes players because every plot is a game board and the pieces are never where you think they are! This start is no exception! Well written and full of suspense, salvation and smuttiness!!!

Well it's taken me 3 days but I got there in the end.Good book and has some good characters a bit slow to start, not really a massive cliffhanger ending but a good one 1.Looking forward to book number to which I'm going to start reading now now.is I would definitely recommend book one.

I loved the book and highly recommend it. I will now look for the continuation. Eva's boys are wonderful. The twins are the hottest in my opinion.

Okay, i have three other books by this author but i haven't read them yet but when i read the preview that it had. I knew i just had to get it. Good part on my own, i love it. Firstly we meet a young women named Grace who was the daughter of a mafia member. Her father and her raced out of the mafia and disappeared for many years and when her supposed to be the happiest day of her life, but it quickly takes a nosedive.Then we meet the four handsome devils..... Hale the leader, Ciro the torturer, Zaid twin one and Lucas twin two. They mission to get her father and take him back to Hale's father. That turns out be be wrong, her father was killed when there was a shoot out at Grace's wedding. She was taken instead.Now, you buy and read the rest for yourself. This is a good book. I can't wait for book 2 to come out.

First time reading this author i was not disappointed what a wild ride and its only book 1 in this series highly recommended

I loved the beginning. Right I to fifty percent when nothing actually happened. By seventy percent I was tired of the inner dialogue of the MFC and by right percent I was skipping.I think the writing was good but wasn't fond of the word drops here and there. A wel written piece though. I gave it three stars because it disappointed me the further I got.
