Nature's Way Heart Care Hawthorn Extract, Supports Healthy Heart Function*, 120 Tablets

My doctor approved this for me because of my health. It's time for a refill.

I've been taking Hawthorn berry extract for some time now. But it was part of a multi supplement that contained a very small dose of it. I decided to beef up the Hawthorne dose after reading so much here and other places online about its success in larger doses for high blood pressure. I decided to stop making my doctor rich and leave all the BS I was putting up with behind quite a while ago and treat my high BP naturally. I have been very successful with it for some time now. But I am always looking for and adjusting the dosages and brands of natural treatments to see if there is a better, and perhaps cheaper alternative. I've been on this Natures Way Hawthorn extract for about a month now and it has been working great. In fact its working so well that I have even been able to cut the dose I was taking in half. It's powerful stuff indeed for a natural supplement, and I suggest caution if you are new to a natural treatment of high BP, and/or new to Hawthorne berry. As stated before, I am no newbie to to natural treatment, and am well knowledgeable on other popular supplements for high BP such as garlic bulb, lycopene, apple cider vinegar, and CoQ10. If you decide to try this Hawthorne extract, or Hawthorne berry under any other brand, I strongly suggest you start off with the smallest dose and keep track of your BP readings. Then add to it if needed. Work yourself up to the proper dose and be especially careful if you are mixing this with a prescription medication. (I don't suggest anyone on a prescription med stop taking it as they experiment with new natural remedies. Keep careful track of your BP and ween yourself off the prescription slowly, if you are successful enough to do so).In conclusion, this Natures Way brand is one of the freshest and best priced Hawthorne extract supplements on the market in my opinion. Its always available here on Amazon, and is just the right strength to really experiment with your dosage. And best of all it's been very effective for me, as well as many other reviewers here. I highly recommend it indeed... : )

I just took one and my flutters literally calmed, like what?!?! I’m hopeful that these will help with my atrial fibrillation. Will update if it doesn’t.As for the pills, good quality… smell very earthy. Easy to swallow. 👍

Has the product changed with no notification on packaging? Tablets were encapsulated in previous orders. Now very strong smell and non-encapsulated. Some after taste. Just beware of change.

I have been using this product for 4 years now and thought I would come back and FINALLY leave a review. I have been leaving a ton of reviews lately because of getting things at a discount and so I figured I would leave some reviews on things I actually bought, like this. I bought this product to help lower my heart rate and blood pressure. It does both. I used my first bottle and moved on to my second bottle, both purchased from Amazon because Amazon has the best value on this product. I recommend this to those who need to lower their heart rate a little or blood pressure. It is not a miracle product, but it does help .... along with eating correctly and if you really want to lower your heart rate, I recommend running. That worked even more than these little capsules. My 13 year old son had been for years on Ivabradine for tachycardia, and recently they had to also add Bisoprolol, since the events kept happening with sudden longer-lasting ones. So after having to add even more medication and with no real progress, I decided to search for natural heart rhythm regulators, and I found this supplement. He's now only taking half a dose of the lowest-dose Bisoprolol tablet, and is completely off the Ivabradine. He's taking a tablet of Hawthorne twice a day. I do not know if it's that he's maturing out of those arrhythmia years some teens experience, but we went from up to 30 events per day, to just a couple per week if that. Hopefully he can be completely off meds and stay with these natural tablets only. This all happened in a matter of 3 months of use. We keep regular checkups with his electrophysiologist, scheduled ECGs and twice a year Holter test.

I had been taking a different hawthorn berry when I read in my Herbal Healing book by an author I respect that this Nature's Way Heart Care was one of the best on the market, so I hunted for it and bought 2 bottles. I know some folks complain about how much to take, but I try to keep everything in perspective. If I were getting medications from a pharmacy even if once a month how much would each pill cost. I have friends who's medicine costs them $30 to $100 a pill. this is 120 tablets in each container, do the math. Two pills $60 to $200 per day. Four per day $120 to $400 per day.Do they work? I'm still among the living. I'll tell my family to update when I die. Anyway, every 'body' is different, just like one medicine doesn't work for all, one herb doesn't either.UPDATE: just recently had a wellness checkup, my BP went from 140/78 to 112/70. I'll continue using Nature's Way.My one and only complaint is the red color, they use 'carmine' which comes from squashed bugs, if they want a pink color BEET juice works so much better. Here's hoping they change the coloring agent!!!
