HI, bit of a tricky one to answer depending on what you want to do with Logic. In essence the Force is a "standalone" piece of gear. Imagine your Computer, DAW, Soft Synths, Sampler, Audio Interface and Midi Controller rolled into one. You can use it as a sound card for your computer and I believe some users have mapped midi control to Logic, but it really comes into its own if using Ableton software.
