I can get a 5lb bag in mine if I make it settle as I go

Are these jars dishwasher safe?

i would assume so - they are glass. I would put in the top rack because of the rubber seal. I have not put mine in the dishwasher - but they have been washed with hot soapy water several times

Good size and quality

These are great jars, they have a good weight and feel well made. The seal feels a little thin, and it's bent up at one edge, but it hasn't detracted from use.I use them to store dishwasher/washing machine tablets, and they hold a full pack - plus they look a lot more attractive than the box/bags.Would buy these in the future if I need more jars.
