Another absorbing Martin Brant novel that is over too fast.
Once again, Martin Brant has crafted a wholesome, winsome and delightful book. His characters seem so authentic, likable and so ready to share the joy of their lifestyle. His books on this subject make up a wonderful testament to life beyond fabric, conformity and a suffocating order. Having read a batch of his books, I rarely want to put the book down. His writings move along, not confusing, not leaving things out. I always come away thinking I know his characters and wanting to meet them. May he continue this fine genre of writings. I just wished he had been able to catch a couple dozen common writing mistakes like lead/led, its/it's and out-and-out missed things. He always make a powerful and wonderful point to affirm intactivism -- the right of males to keep and have their foreskins -- versus the cruel tyranny of forced circumcision of the non-consenting.

Nice reading
I enjoy the story. Being open and not afraid of being you. Having no judgement about other people bodies and they look like.

A great book
A great read for those that are shy and don't want anybody to see them sans clothing. Don't be scared, just do it.

Fun but stereotypical
I am a nudist and enjoy reading about nudist "adventures." Shared Secrets was fun, but as is too often the case, there was a nudist under every rock. In the whole book there were only four people that did not just enthusiastically jump on the opportunity to be naked forever, which I would love to do. What I am getting tired of is that everyone can be anything they want as long as it is not (God Forbid) a Christian. Somehow, in almost every nudist reading out there, the author has to go out of his or her way to bash Christians. It is so predictable. I am a Christian first and nudist/naturist second. I know that there are plenty of legalistic brothers and sisters out there, but there is probably also a high percentage of the rest of society that sees nudism as a bit weird. I know, all these reads tell us why. Yak yak yak. Try reading Christian Body for a healthy Christian pro-nudist position. I fear that too high of a percentage of nudist writers may have a basic prejudice against one particular people group when they would claim all day to be open minded.
