It can be confusing to a small child thats learning how the world works. I read a few pages to my 4 year old and I felt the need to explain that the little girl was doing everything wrong. For an older child like 6 or 7 years old it might be silly and funny, but I dont recommend it for someone younger than that. It has pretty pictures, but to be honest makes me nervous to read it to my kid and have her think thats the way a kid supposed to act.

My daughter's name is Amelia, so of course I had to start reading these to her! This book is very nice, and she has made me read Amelia Bedelia Sleeps Over" repeatedly

My daughter absolutely loved this book so much, that we have bought it multiple times for birthday gifts. Very funny and cute stories!

My daughter loves this book. She ignored all the other items that arrived for her, just to read about Amelia bedelia nad her silly ways. She reads more often and reads it aloud for her two year old brother. Just loving it!!!

This is one of my favorite books to read to children!!

After reading these with our girls, these are much more kind spirited and easy to grasp than the originals. Some of the word play of the old ones don't hold up

This is a lovely book .there are 5 stories inside.i had order this book for my 5 years daughter and believe me the stories are so nice my daughter just love it.i had bought when it was 599 rs. but now there is great deal is going on I have order one more for my daughter's friend. I am so glad I bought this book just on appearance! It is a really nice collection of stories and pages are strewn with oh-so-beautiful pictures!!!!The quality of paper, print and pictures is unquestionable and at the given prize the book is a steal!If my daughter wasn't so taken with it, I would have loved to flaunt it as a decor item!Thanks a lot amazon for making these books available in India!!

Mein Vorschulkind liebt das Buch, und wir haben es gleich nach dem Kauf mehrere Male gelesen. Amelia Bedelia ist ein Mädchen, das alles wörtlich nimmt und dadurch einiges verschusselt ("glue yourself to your chair").Sprachlich war recht viel Unterstützung nötig, zumal meine Tochter mit amerikanischem Englisch nicht so gut vertraut ist, aber es hat sich gelohnt und den Wortschatz dabei auch erweitert.

Very fun book.Younger kids will not understand it the way an older kid or a parent will (Amelia is really funny) but they will still love it.
