The product has true rubber strap and works well. I actually bought this for opening various size canning jars of food. I have very bad arthritis in both hands and this makes it much easier and painless. Normally the small wrench is all that is needed. Occasionally the larger one or both are needed for larger over tightened jars. The tool can be used to tighten various plumbing products as well as that was originally what strap wrenches were designed for. It made with Plastic, Rubber, and Stainless steel. It is. easily kept clean and safe for a kitchen tool.

Keep the smaller wrench in the kitchen to open jars and the large one is in our RV to assist releasing the black and grey water hose connectors.

Used these to unscrew a bathroom faucet handle that was stuck pretty bad. This immediately got it turning. Highly recommended.

This set of 2 sizes is perfect for opening wide mouth canning jars with their bands that are taller than grocery store lids. The smaller one goes around the bottom of the glass jar and the bigger one goes around the canning jar ring .1 simple twist and the jar band is off. Especially good on getting those wide mouth plastic storage lids off !👍

I’d give zero stars if possible. Both of the straps broke the very first time I used them. Complete garbage. Don’t waste your money.

I needed to add a new strap-type wrench to my tool complement. I have had a variety of the metal oil filter strap wrenches over years, but they have fixed diameters, and have gotten bent, misplaced, and most filters I need to remove these days are smaller diameter and mine were the "old-style" larger wrenches. In close examination (and limited use to date), these are solidly built and yet are compact enough to get into any area that I could reach with my old-style wrenches. The rubber straps have gripped well for me, and the infinite adjustability means that you are not limited to the certain size range that the fixed-type metal wrenches will fit.We'll see how these hold up over time, but as of now the effective performance and very reasonable price makes them well worth adding to your toolbox even if you only need them a couple times a year.
