Can the side door be set to open the other direction?

Will a Large be ok for a standard poodle?

I have an XL for my Aussiedoodle. He’s not quite as tall as some standard poodles I’ve met. I’d measure the poodle to double check height

Would it be strong enough to stack a wire crate of the same size on top?
