Q: Are these dishwasher safe?

I don’t know but there heavy rubber I would think they would be safe on the top shelf.

Q: Will this break the seal like a jar key instead of trying to use a butter knife, and is it adjustable for jars with taller lids?

The main jar opener has 8 size openings, 4 openings each on the front and back for 1-3" lids, just choose the right size, grip and twist off the lids. For lids larger than 3 inches in diameter, you can use the Mouth-shaped hook on top helps to open large-size lid by breaking air tightness, please refer to the second and third pictures on the details page Hope this helps you!

Perfect for weak hands.

I was diagnosed with MS in 2016, and have lost the ability to open bottles, jars, etc. These grip tremendously, and adjusts to many sizes. It works for everything in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room. Runs the gammet for it's use. The color is very refreshing, like the sky.
