The cat loves this toy! He likes to sleep on it. Very sturdy construction.

I bought two of these, one for my five month old kitten and one for his 15 month old Maine Coon mother because they both love to kick when they play. As soon as they came into contact with them they loved them. They're bigger than I expected which is great, and both of my cats love to kick it when they catch it in a 'hug' type grip. The loop/zip tie around the middle made it easy to attach a shoelace to allow for dragging it around so it can 'escape' and be a lot more fun for them. His mother especially has very sharp claws and teeth, and even though I've only had them for a day they've withstood being tugged on, chewed on, and kicked by their hindpaws so they're definitely very durable!3 month edit:These lose their catnip smell very quickly but my female Maine Coon still loves to play with them. As for my tom, well instead of playing with his he'd rather spin around in circles holding it in his mouth, carry it to a corner, meow a little, and then hump it up against the wall. I can always tell when he's at it again because he meows and chirps at it really loudly. But hey, at least it keeps him occupied. His mother won't touch the one he plays with, but she'll go crazy for the one I kept aside for only her. So I guess it keeps them both occupied. Glad I bought two instead of just the one. Neither is torn or worn out at all, they're surprisingly durable.

I believe my kitten will grow in to it. At this stage he does like the tail to fight with 😊

The toy appears to be well made and is exactly like the picture. Unfortunately, our cat is completely uninterested in it. First, I continue to be unable to understand basic measurements, and this toy is almost as long as our small cat, and nearly as wide. My bad. Second, the toy smells like fish, which might be a selling point for cats other than ours, but I don't want to touch it. At any rate, this was not a win for us, and off it goes to my son's cats to see how they like it.

Honestly I forgot I had ordered this. My cat was shredding the shipping package yesterday and could not figure out what was in there she wanted so bad. I opened the bag and was greeted with the familiar scent of cat nip. I watched as her eyes fully dilated and her whiskers began to tremble. Now this is my cat out of the 4 who does not like toys, does not like wet food, does not like treats but does love catnip. I was skeptical to say the least, but determined to find a toy she would enjoy. Within seconds of dropping it on the ground she pounced like the house panther she is. She was rolling across the floor knocking into the other cats kicking with all her might. She has met her new best friend. She has carried it all over the house and even used it as a pillow to sleep on last night. I am thrilled and fully vindicated since my husband said it was probably another cat toy waste. I never leave reviews but just had to this time! If you have a picky cat like mine do not hesitate!

I bought this toy since my cat loves crinkle sounds. When the toy arrived, I was so disappointed to have a toy with no crinkle sounds. It is basically a stuffed sock.
