Linnea in Monet's Garden

As an Art Teacher for grade school students this book is a favorite.

This book is a treasure for children and adults alike. It tells the story of Linnea, a young girl who loves art and flowers, and her visit to Monet's garden in Giverny, France. The book is full of beautiful illustrations and photographs that capture the magic and beauty of Monet's paintings and his home. The book also teaches about Monet's life and his passion for nature and art. It is a wonderful introduction to impressionism and one of its greatest masters. I read this book to my children when they were little and they loved it. They learned so much about art and history, and they were inspired by Linnea's curiosity and enthusiasm. Now I bought this book for my grandson, who is also an art lover. I hope he will enjoy it as much as I did. I also hope to take him to Paris someday and see the Waterlilies exhibit in person. This book is a must-have for anyone who loves art and flowers.

My late sister got me this book a very long time ago. Over the years who knows what happened to it. I could not get that book off my mind so I looked it up and you had it. Thank you Amazon for bringing those memories back to life!!!

I used this story as a teacher, and am now introducing a family member to the art of Claude Monet. High interest story with background on the artist, his gardens and his art. Take a journey with Linnea to Monet’s garden.

Primarily wanted it for the name of the character, but found it a charming story.

A friend lent me this. I was so surprised how comprehensive it was with photos, history, museum mentions and Monet details and history. I’m giving them out as birthday gifts. Very classy.
