First of all thanks to the B Online Store for the awesome packaging that you can see on the photo . It was wrapped with bubble wrap so tight that if i thew it to the wall it won't damage that's an exmple, i didn't do it or no one should do that . It took me few minutes to open the package to see the beast . Now m using it and its fast its very fast . Previously i was using amd fx 6300 so i can a huge difference in performance. I am just loving it but the stock cooler is not good soon ill buy a new one . If you don't want to overclock and play games at maxedout settings pair it with a high end graphics card and see how this beast works . I am not an overclocking type of guy so i bought it and now i am totally satisfied with it . If you like to overclock than go for k version but it won't bring a huge difference. Having a core i7 7700 makes me feel great. Thanks Amazon

Buying a Core i7 7700 which is 2nd fastest Intel CPU right now is a good decision as it will last 5 years easily. You will need to upgrade your GPU before you face a CPU bottleneck with i7 7700. With this CPU you will be set for any kind of gaming needs till 2021 easily and will need to replace in 2022.Games in 2017 have finally started utilizing upto 4 cores in a CPU. Games such as Watch Dogs 2, Deus Ex Mankind divided, Mass Effect Andromeda etc are utilizing 100% power that a Quad Core i5 7500 CPU provides. Even with this 4C-8T CPU, games will benefit but not a lot over a Quad Core i5 7500/7600k right now at 1080p. But, no one buys a CPU for "right now". You buy it with next 5 years in mind as CPU performance has reached a saturation point and games are more GPU bound now.Looking at how DirectX 12 and Vulcan are progressing, buying a Core i7 7700 means you can use your PC for anything for next 5+ years including CPU limited games easily. And this CPU has a 65 W TDP so even a Cooler Master Hyper 212X is sufficient to cool it.

The stock cpu fan and heatsink is the worst, any heavy working and it reaches 80 to 70 degree Celsius. You will need to buy another heatsink. The processor itself is awesome and works wonders!!!

Amazon has got a perfectly good price here...... I bought this at MD computers and the headline showed 23k... When I went inside to checkout 500 taxes came in and total cost was 24.5k which is here on Amazon.... :)

1) The batch no. on the CPU does not match with the CPU information written on the packet.2) The thermal paste is smeared rather than localized in three distinct position.3) No Intel information card inside which contain the logo of Intel i7.4) The packet was loosely sealed with two glue drops and easily open with the application of pressure.5) When the batch no and serial no is feed to the Intel site it is showing warranty upto 6th Jan 2022. But Intel used to give warranty upto three years from the date of purchase.File a return and the seller has assured to return it. I hope Amazon will help me and it was a bitter experience.
