Is the subwoofer output at fixed level or as you change the speakers volume also the sub's gets changed ?

can kanto yu4 speakers be hooked up to a cd /dvd player? thanks

Yes. They have inputs for most audio items such as a CD player. They also have a digital input which is the best option if your player has a digital out, but they also have RCA inputs as well.

Are you able to play sound from two different inputs at the same time?

Yu4's will only play sound from one input at a time. Please email us directly if you have any other questions and we'll be happy to help.

I plugged this directly into a turntable with a pre amp. Turned preamp to line on turntable and phone on kanto speaker but only get static from speak?

You will need to have them both either set to line to use the turntable pre-amp, or both set to photo to use the speakers pre-amp. Please email Kanto living customer support directly if you have any other questions.
