Best bang for its buck gaming monitor
I was not disappointed with this monitor. Its very well built. I have mine on a wall mounted arm. Its 144hz refresh rate has improved my gaming ability. I see things I have not seen before in games. Its fairly price for so much power. I recommended it to a friend and he loves his too. If you are looking for a monitor that wont break the bank but give great quality. This is the monitor you need.

Got it for about a year, good budget HDR gaming monitor
I've had this for about a year. Well it's gonna be a year but so far, so good. Keep in mind, this is using a much older HDR10 technology. So don't expect with the HDR BUT it's good nevertheless. If you have a game capture like the Elgato HD60 S+, you can make it think you have 4K but of course, it won't display it well since the monitor is 1440p. You can still get the most out of it. Besides, 1440p is the sweet spot for gaming anyways. If you want an budget gaming monitor then get this. It has everything you need for gaming. Audio jack input is eh but still good. It has no speakers, so you gotta get yourself one.At the time, I have the original PS5 model and you can play games that supports 120hz. Like Spider-Man 2 and also the latest Call of Duty game like Black Ops 6. It supports HDR, so it'll look really nice anyways. I don't mind the 27 inch screen and the build is pretty good. The screen is actually big enough anyways. I really like the stand and the assembly is really, really easy.If you're starting out and looking for a budget HDR gaming monitor, this is still a good one to go for.

This monitor is amazing in terms of price to performance especially when it’s considered a budget monitor 180hz @ 1440p for the price you can't beat that .This is my first curve monitor so that took a while to get adjusted to, but when you’re locked in to gaming or web browsing or any productivity task, you hardly notice it. overall great bill quality stock stand doesn’t take up a large amount of space on my desk which is 55” if space is a concern definitely pair it with a monitor mount. overall good quality build from LG just a heads up don’t utilize the HDR It kind of sucks instead go to the settings and put color temp in manual and use the setting W3.

Great Bargain
Upgraded from a 27" MSI and so far this monitor has not disappointed! I love my LG TV, owned it the past four years and it's still flawless, hopefully this monitor will prove to be similar.

I can never go back to 1080p
After extensive research, I finally took the plunge into the world of 1440p with the LG UltraGear 27GL83A-B, and I must say, this monitor is truly outstanding. From the moment I unboxed it, the setup was a breeze, and the picture quality has been consistently impressive, especially with its effective dimming zones. One thing to note for those chasing HDR on a budget: you'll likely encounter 'fake HDR' in this price range, which, in my opinion, doesn't really add much to the experience. So, if true HDR is a must-have, you might need to look at higher-tier options. While this monitor doesn't include a USB hub, which you might find on some similarly priced alternatives with diligent searching or a good sale, the DisplayPort and HDMI connections have worked flawlessly for me. For competitive gaming, setting the response time to 'Fast' has been the sweet spot, offering excellent clarity during fast-paced action. The stand deserves special mention – it's exceptionally well-built and offers a fantastic range of adjustments. I've enjoyed the flexibility of raising, lowering, and rotating the screen to find the perfect viewing angle. Just be aware that it doesn't offer left-to-right swivel.Overall, I'm finding the 27-inch size to be just about perfect for general use and gaming at this resolution. If you're looking for a fantastic 1440p gaming monitor without breaking the bank and aren't overly concerned with true HDR or a built-in USB hub, the LG UltraGear 27GL83A-B is definitely worth considering.

Amazing monitor especially at this price!
I’ve always trusted LG, and this monitor absolutely delivers. The picture quality is stunning—games look incredibly vibrant and immersive, with zero backlight bleed. Setup was quick and hassle-free, and it fits perfectly into my gaming setup both functionally and visually. Most importantly, the performance is consistently smooth, making every gaming session a great experience. This is a reliable, high-quality monitor I’d definitely recommend.

Love how i got it so cheap
Years ago this thing would of gone for around 300-400 range but i was able to swipe it up for 160. No issues and its absolutely great for everything ive used it for (gaming, watching movies, procrastinating chores). 10/10 would recommend
