Great for getting a picture

I had an old JAMMA game PCB that had RGBGS output for picture. I used this converter board to get a picture to a HDMI monitor, worked well ages a bit of set up.Also used it for VGA and that worked straight away.

Works perfectly and cheaper than AliExpress!

I'll be using this as a base for a GBS-C build for my retro consoles. My original GBS8200 I bought from AliExpress a few years back (and subsequently stuffed into a drawer untested) turned out to be faulty when I came to build it this week. The cheapest I could find on there after tax and shipping was £27 delivered (and a 2-3 week wait). This one was £21 and change, and arrived lunchtime the next day. Once it arrived I unboxed it (a nice touch) and plugged it in - I'm happy to report that everything is up and running out of the box nicely with this one from Amazon. All the inputs are working as expected (which is more than I can say for my original one, which to begin with had zero output to display, and once I'd got that working recognised no inputs initially either!).So thank you to Amazon and the reseller Mcbazel for a great item that works as it should do, delivered the very next day at a great price! For anyone planning their own GBS-C build, I'd wholly recommend this!

Let's me use my Amiga on a modern LCD

This works great on my Amiga 600. Image quality is very good on any setting I choose on the Amiga. The picture isn't quite filling the screen is the only slight gripe but for the money it's great! There's 3D print designs in Thingiverse too.

Works with old Retro BBC micro.

I needed a way to get my BBC micro and Master to work with a modern SVGA monitor. I had tried a few of the boxes advertised on Amazon, but they didnt work.. I think I was going to have to spend a lot of money to get this to work that is until I found this. Cheap and with a bit of knowledge, soldering 6 pin Dins, it works. Happy days. Going to see if it will work with my Commodore Amiga 500.

Excellent on a BBC Micro. Two boards purchased, both work well.

Produces a very nice display, even on mode 0. Game movement is probably as good as you are going to get due to frame rate conversion. Very playable and no problems. The initial settings needed a small tweak (mainly the V size needs increasing to remove the artifacts at the bottom). Very handy being able to alter the height, width, top and left positions - well suited to fitting the BBC micro screen nicely on a monitor. No sparkles or whatever - a nice clean display.

JUST NO !!!

Don't expect this to work with your Atari/Amiga, it will require further modifications to work. Returning mine.

Works well with my Amiga

I followed the wiring guide on a blog (Google 'Synchronising the GBS-82XX') and got it working, the video was very dim until I adjusted all three input potentiometers fully anti-clockwise. The OSD was in Chinese but check each option until you find language and set it to English.I have seen a few 'sparklies' on the picture, but these are nothing compared to the blurry picture I had previously with CVBS output. It would have been good if this had come with a wiring guide but the blog mentioned above was very helpful as is a Google search for GBS-82XX.

Great for Amstrad CPC 6128

This worked well almost out of the box (except it didn't come in one) on my Amstrad CPC 6128. All I had to do was press the SW button until I got the picture. Nice clear yellow on blue screen, just as it should be. Please note that you can't do this with the OSD on. You might need to fiddle with the horizontal and vertical controls on the monitor to get the picture nicely centred. The connection from the CPC to the McBazel needs a special din to vga cable. You can make one up, but I chose to get one from the helpful people at CoolNovelties.co.uk.
