Very good...very, very expensive
If this product cost $200 less, I'd give it 5 stars, because the formula itself is great, and I can see why it has a cultish following -- for an enzymatic cleanser, this is incredibly gentle on your skin. Yet, it's still thorough and cleans out your pores without stripping your skin of moisture. That's a very tricky 'tightrope' to walk; these cleansers tend to be very drying, but this is powerful without that.The real problem is that you may never care to give it a try because it's so, so outrageously expensive for a cleanser. (I'll admittedly spend this kind of money on an excellent serum or cream -- not something that rinses right off my skin in moments. It's just not worth this kind of money -- personal opinion, of course.) I will say that MBR gives you a generous amount of it -- I've had the same bottle for 2 months and even with everyday use, I'm probably only a third of the way through it. So, it really lasts. I'm guessing, at this rate, it'll probably last for 7-8 months, so maybe the investment is worth it to you if you get the majority of a year out of a bottle.Bottom line:Would I purchase this again? Probably not.Would I use it regularly if it were given to me? Absolutely.
