Works for powering dash-cam
Just so others know - 'cause I didn't - this allows power through to a USB C to mini USB cable to power an IIwey dash-cam with no problems at all.It's a nice unobtrusive size and looks well made.

Fast charge works (but only on usb-c to usb-c cable)
UPDATE - the customer service was kind to offer a refund, and explain that the adapter works only with usb-c to usb-c cable. I tried it and it does charge fast charge with it. That's exactly what I was looking for, it didn't cross my mind that it could be because I tested it with USB-A cable. So I update the review and rating accordingly.They feel and look great, but my phone gives me a warning message that something is wrong with my cable and says it'll finish charging in over 7h...I wouldn't mind slow charging, but this is slower than slow...Beats me how some reviews and the product description here say it still charges Fast ChargeI contacted support but still no reply - so I'm kinda also put off by Amazon now too, as their idea of customer support is to give you a link to an external website, so not related to Amazon at all, with just a contact form.

Great Product
Great product, small, easy to use, and work well; my devices still say they're charging rapidly when using a USB-C to USB-C cable. Checked with a multimeter and USB 3.2 cable to confirm that there is no continuity on any of the data transmission lines. Also, customer service were very helpful when I had questions about how they're made.

These work!
I have several data blockers and I when I bought a USB Cable checker, by Treedix(r) , from Amazon, to check them, worryingly most still have data going through.These do not and I am confident that they allow only charging. I have bought some more.They seem to still allow faster charging too.

Slow to Charger
Slow at charging even with a fast charger, it takes a lot longer to charge, but personal digital data is safe.

Perfect for Skoda Octavia to power dash cam through usb c to 12v
This adapter works great for my new Skoda Octavia, which for some insane reason has no 12v socket only usb c ports.I'm using it to power the Pelsee P1 Duo 4K dash cam with a usb c to 12v socket adapter, which required the Afterplug usb c to usb c data blocker to stop the camera going into mass storage mode.With the blocker in place, the dash cam works as expected.
