How many teeth in the ratchet?

Not sure pretty course though it’s a cheaper ratchet for the price I’m satisfied with it and I use to work in a auto shop for several years

Is this a strong tool set?

No it's not. It cheap and may get the job done but its not built with high grade anything. You want to send you son off to college with a tool set to change oil and whatever. Great. You want a tool set, for 20 years go American. My craftsman was pretty decently priced.

Are you able to completely lock up the entire box or is the lock just for the top?

When the top is closed, the drawers will not open. So, if you lock the top closed, the whole box is locked up.
