I recently picked up Hot Mess: Diary of a Wimpy Kid and, as a fan of the entire series, it didn’t disappoint! I own all the books, and I’ve enjoyed every one of them. Hot Mess is just as funny and relatable as the others, with Greg Heffley’s misadventures and awkward moments keeping me laughing throughout. The humor is classic Wimpy Kid, and the illustrations really add to the charm. It’s a great addition to the series and fun to see how Greg continues to navigate the chaos of his life. If you're a fan of the series like I am, this one is definitely worth the read!

Wimpy Kid is not as popular now as it was in the past, but I still have some die-hard fans of the series.

Our kids LOVE these books. Greg can be a bit of a heal at times, but it's a good discussion point to have with your kids at the same time. The antics are funny and out there so it's not like they are learning bad things. It's light-hearted and very entertaining for kids. Plus, the more the read the better!

Just finished Hot Mess, book 19 of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and man, Jeff Kinney’s still got it! Greg Heffley’s summer with his chaotic family in a cramped beach house had me cracking up. The heat, the awkward vibes, and Greg trying to figure out Gramma’s meatball recipe—it’s a total disaster, but in the funniest way. I could feel the sweat and family tension through the pages! The drawings are as goofy and spot-on as ever, and Greg’s attempts to “solve” things just keep making it worse. It’s relatable if you’ve ever survived a messy family vacay. Definitely the funniest one yet—had me laughing out loud more than once. If you’re a Wimpy Kid fan, this one’s a no-brainer. Greg’s a hot mess, and I’m here for it!

Book 19 of an entertaining series. Purchased for my daughter for her birthday to complete collection with the latest volume. Greg Hefley up to his standard hijinks. A good quick read that can be enjoyed in repeated reads.

I really enjoy reading these with my kids. This one is fun because it’s not just a normal vacation book but he mixes it up by having the entire family come along. Funny personalities.
