I use this chair at my computer desk. I use my computer for home recording. I needed a chair without armrests as they interfere with with my guitar playing. Since these fold up, they work perfectly for me. I am 69 years of age and I put the chair together without much difficulty. The instructions are pretty straight forward. They even include extra screws! I haven’t had this very long so I have no opinion on the longevity. The quality is surprisingly top notch. I had a chair that when I sat in for long periods, my back would hurt. With this chair I’ve noticed my back doesn’t hurt after sitting for long periods. With recording it seems you sit for a long while. Pretty good chair!!

I purchased this chair because of the movable arms, which allow it to fit much closer under the computer desk that my wife uses. It provides her with good support, rolls extremely well, and the arms move out of the way very easily. Assembly instructions were easy to follow, and all parts went together well with one exception. That single exception is the under-the-seat handle which activates the hydraulic piston and releases the chair for rocking back. The handle works fine, but it didn't fit with the rigidity I have seen in other chairs. It just sort of hangs in the bracket. The instructions didn't address anything about positioning the handle for rigid placement, so I couldn't figure out how to fix that particular item. Of course, users seldom use that handle once the height is set, and most people either leave the chair locked down or in the rocking position; thus, it's not a big deal, but it simply wasn't the quality that I found in all other fittings of the chair.

This chair was fairly easy to assemble, came packaged well so that all pieces didn't mess up each other in shipping. There is only one thing wrong and that is I think that the wheels should have been bigger or bulkier for the size of the chair, because it can tip over if you are leaning back or rocking with it, if you don't have the wheels a certain way.The chair is very comfortable, I love being able to have armrest or no armrest when needed, love the option to rock or not. The height is adjustable, it is easy to wipe down and hair does not stick to it. Soft and not stiff UP Leather. Definitely happy that I bought it for my new craft/business desk. Looks great with the wood and black steel desk.

I have some gripes, but it's also a step down from the big comfy high back chair that I'm used to. It went together with ease and everything was masked when I received it, so it's finishes were perfectly preserved. Not a single scratch....I was happily surprised. It feels solid and durable and provides some good lumbar support. I like the wheels and they are able to let me move around with ease, even on a thicker carpet. The tuck-away armrests are a nice touch that I'm getting used to.The chair itself feels like it would fit a shorter person much more comfortably because the back only comes up even with my shoulders (I'm 5' 9"). Trying to recline and rest my head (had neck surgery recently) is nothing shy of a complicated feat. I wish this thing had a headrest and had I paid attention to the backrest meaurements, I would've never looked at it twice.I've been through quite a few office chairs in my lifetime and quite a few have proven their worth in cost vs comfort, so I have a pretty good sense of what works for me. When I typed in "Highback Office Chair", this showed up and I see that it wasn't catagorized properly. A highback is any chair that provides neck/head support...this ain't it and the shape of the back wasn't contoured for it. I'm probably going to give this one to my son and find one that fits the bill for me. As for the $150+ price tag (I paid $109 after coupon)... it's more like an $80 chair with some manufacturer gouging for good measure.

For the price this chair simply cannot be beat. I got it in two days, which was a must. If you’re looking for a nice chair to smoke your cigar and drink a glass of bourbon, this probably isn’t for you. If you wanna work from home, but you need something more comfortable than a solid wooden chair to sit on , this is it!

I researched all the chairs on Amazon within a certain price point and this was the best I could find. I needed something that could support at least 250 but preferably more since I would not want it to degrade too quickly. This did the trick. It's comfortable, and has decent features. That said, it isn't going to be more comfortable that a couch or some other chair designed for comfort. I also wish that it could rise a few inches higher but that is just a small thing. Otherwise it was easy to build and use, and I hope it continues to be an awesome chair.
