Absolutely perfect fit for my River Security 380 with magazines, and was very simple to program fingerprints. If using the cable that comes with it one may want to wrap the metal screw on end with electrical tape, shrink tubing or rubber cap just to simply protect your firearm from coming into contract with it in case there is some movement inside the case. However that is no big deal and a quick simple fix, the case is very well made, has foam on top bottom and sides, the locking mechanism is sturdy and good quality. I feel I well got my money worth at the price

Very nice case. Biometrics work great (holds enough prints for my entire family to put in multiple fingers). One thing I really like is that the lid pops open when unlocked. That might not seem like a big deal, but I bought a cheap one that doesn’t do that and the difference is huge. In an emergency situation you don’t want to use your finger to unlock it, then have to pick the thing up and use both hands to open it.Anyway, it has a nice compact size but it will fit a full sized pistol and an extra mag. It feels substantial, good size biometric memory, and opens quickly and easily. Worth the $.

Like many of the other reviews noted (I should have noted before purchase!)... Was programming, with little issue multiple fingerprint orientations and checking their correct operation after each one. Then, after about 20 successes, sensor stop working/reading (red LED circle and beep). Could not program additional fingerprints and the ones previously programmed were no longer recognized. REALLY?!?!?! Definitely NOT something I am willing to bet my life on functioning properly at time of need!!! Will be returning! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!While Customer Service was very responsive, programming went smoother on replacement unit, other than "pinky finger" on either hand would not program. Have been testing it over the week. Some days about 1/4 to 1/3 of the attempts to open with any finger work. Just about every other day, NO fingers worked to open. I cannot trust my life to access my firearm with less than 25% chance of opening on any day. Returning and until they get the sensor functional and much more reliable, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I read a lot of reviews. They complain of being difficult to setup and such. I saw this was delivered and I tossed it into my car. I was early to an appt and while waiting I set it up with 2 fingerprints in less than 2 minutes. Excellent directions. Quite sturdy and the fingerprint pad is quite good. Solidly built, and the quick start literature is just fine. The protective foam goes top bottom and sides which is important because you could have some slide inside and you don’t want things clanging around on unprotected sides. The cable is plenty strong and it fits neatly under a seat. Just to test it out I can fit my G-19 and G-26 in at the same time. It’s tight but, one compact or two sub compacts are going to fit perfectly. Here’s the stuff I didn’t like. 1) The “bolt” that goes on the inside is plenty strong enough but, is solid enough to scratch your property if it shifts. You’ll need to go to the hardware store and get a small plastic cap for the bolt. Seeing as it’s not a nut but a cylinder, the tightening is tough and you may need some of the blue Permatex so it doesn’t loosen up. 2) The bottom of the safe is very clean and smooth so, it will slide around under your seat and clank around when you hit the brakes or go around a curve. I’m going to put a few of those little rubber feet on the bottom so it’s more secure and doesn’t slide all over the place. That aside, this will be just fine to secure your firearms while in the car or to transport. Worth the money but, you’ll need to get a couple of things if you’re keeping it in the car.

This is exactly what I wanted. Fits my 1911 and one mag (probably would fit 2-3) perfectly and secure. Easy to set up, looks great. Was easily able to add 3 of my fingers and 3 of my wife’s fingers in about 45 seconds. Works every time. Would also work well for items other than intended. (Money, jewelry, valuables). Very refreshing buying an item that actually delivers what it promises.
