Helps with posture.
I have a daycare so I rock many babies. My back has always bothered me and as soon as I started using this my back pain was cut in half.

Very thick & good support
I often use my laptop at a dining room table with a stiff wooden chair that usually has me shifting around every few minutes but when I put this cushion on the wooden seat I can stay in one place for a long time without any discomfort. I am short (5'3") so I find that the added cushion prevents me from being able to put my feet flat on the ground but I can comfortably cross my ankles with my toes touching the ground. Most of the fabric feels soft but I'm not a fan of the gray mesh areas on my skin. I assume the gray mesh is for moisture wicking to prevent any smells from sweat, it just does not feel great on my skin so I usually need to wear long pants or but a blanket over the cushion.

Surprisingly effective for posture
Overall, I would recommend you try this product.I work from home, so I was interested to see how this vacuum-sealed foam lumbar support might help with my lower back pain, posture, and comfort while seated for longer periods. The product took a day or two to decompress out of the vacuum seal. The cushion comes with a thank-you card and a QR code from the manufacturer that links to a how-to video. I opened the vacuum seal and allowed the cushion to decompress for a couple of days.Initially, I thought the design was too simple, but now I realize it is a somewhat clever design; the back support is a foam seat and back cushion with some extra foam in the lumbar area. Adjustable clips run from the upper back and attach to the front of the seat cushion. This forces you to sit up straight and sit against the lumbar support. In terms of pain relief, the product somewhat alleviated my back and butt pain when sitting for long periods of work. In terms of support, the product is effective, however I would prefer if the lumbar support height were more adjustable. Overall, the cushion is comfortable, but it may make you feel like you are forced to lean forward, which is the point. Give this cushion a shot.

Should of ordered a while ago
This is amazing, I work a 9-5 desk job and this helped my back so much!!! The first day it wasn’t 100% comfortable because it wasn’t fully inflated and I wasn’t use to sitting up this way, but it was great by the second day. No longer going home with back pain, very comfortable. I also am considerably overweight but super short and it still was comfortable.

Not quite what I was expecting
This thing is more a pillow than a seat. It says it can be used anywhere, but that anywhere needs to be shaped like a chair with a back. The thing came vacuum sealed to compress the memory foam to save space and the way it folded small didn't bode well. Cut it open and waited a day for the foam to uncompress. So the entire thing is too soft and you need a chair to actually give support, it can't provide it on its own. If you tighten the two straps it really does nothing, the straps just dig into the soft foam and the back kinda collapses down(picture a skinny belt cinched tight around a ordinary pillow). If there's no chair back or wall and you lean back, you're basically going to fall backwards. It says you can use it on the floor, but no way unless its on the floor against the wall. Shame because i'm a sports photographer and sitting cross legged on the floor alot, i was hoping for something that could give me back support. If they maybe offered some plastic inserts to stiffen it or redesigned the way the straps attached to spread out the forces so it doesn't just squish the foam in.As for the performance itself, it offers pretty good comfort and lumbar support. It only covers the lower back so it would be nice to lean shoulders back too. The butt portion is more shaped to fit your body than typical chairs. If i were to do it again i'd probably get a tall backed chair with good lumbar support and get just a shaped cushion for the bottom. For now its being used by my elderly father while he exercises with a desk cycle. The pedal motion hurts his tailbone and the thick cushion alleviates that
