This dog seat belt has been great for my 5 year old, 18lb Shih Tzu. It clips into his harness with enough resistance so that he can move, but mostly held in an upright position in seat. It's added assurance that he's secured in the backseat and is not a distraction while driving.

Works great, use as a leash for your dog. And then when they ride in the car you can buckle it into the seat belt or unhook leash and put around the head rest. When you stop and open the door the dog can't escape. If the window is open dog can't jump out. It also keeps the dog in His area and not jumping all over the car. I liked it so much I got one for my grand daughters dog, very well satisfied with the leash...

Nice but the length adjustment doesn't stay where you put it. Other wise it it great, it helps ti keep pet from jumping out of car.

The straps for the seat belts for my dog works great. It hooks over the headrest in the back seat and it hooks on to his harness. He was always stepping on the seat belt release on the seat then he was loose in the car which doesn’t happen now. . Plus he doesn’t get tangled up since it comes down above him. I would highly recommend these. They were inexpensive and really secures him . I’m very happen with my purchase and they came very quickly. We have 2 of them. One for each vehicle.

I chose these because they have the option to wrap around the headrest. I haven't used it for that yet, but it worked great in the seatbelt buckle. I also really like it because with the loop part, it makes it long enough to use as a leash short term for visits to the vet or groomer. And having two dogs, it was a no brainer to get this set. They are very sturdy.
