I use this gravel mix as a top cover on some of my succulents and cacti, it looks nice.As other comments have mentioned, it has a LOT of silt in it and needs several rinses, which should be done outside so not to plug up your kitchen drain with silt.

I use this instead of pumice because these are just as porous and work just as good for outstanding drainage. Adding the rocks on top of my plants looks great for decorative purposes. The bag is bug & dust free and you get a good amount for the price.

This is great for cacti. Just make sure you wash it first because it can contain some dust from crushing during transit.

the ONLY reason I am giving 4 stars is due to the clean up before you can even use the product. It is extremely dusty and requires A LOT of rinses. Despite this, my alocasia loves it and has put out so many roots!

I grabbed this because I was looking for an alternative to the fancy pon everyone wants to get a hold of. It doesn’t have added fertilizer to it but this stuff is just as great. I’ve replaced a lot of my soil with this and the plants are thriving. Alocasia, anthuriums, and a few pothos.

Good quality. However, it takes a lot of rinsing which can make it challenging to use at my apartment since I don't have anywhere to rinse it(it's not safe to allow sediment to run into the drains). My alocasias love this soil alternative and it's easier to deal with. I use diluted fertilizer with every watering. I bought hard plastic containers and used a soldering iron to make holes for air. I fill the bottom portion with water and since switching mediums, my plant has taken off. It's aesthically pleasing also(if you rinse properly).

It makes my plants looks very pretty. I love the colors of the rocks and it brings the green of the succulents out more. I plan on getting more because they are easy to take care of.
