No, that’s why it’s much cheaper than the name brand ones. The bristles have the fading blue color indicator to let you know when it’s time to replace

We love these replacement heads for our electric toothbrushes. The color changing bristles help you keep up when it is time to change the head. Good buy!

Model has changed from previous purchase

As you can see by the attached photos, the model has changed. The current style is on the left, with no white bristles. Notably, there is no metal in the bottom ring now, and the bristle style has also changed. I don’t know if the metal missing will affect the sonic resonance properties/cleaning efficiency. I’ve only used the new head once so far, but it seems slightly smaller than the previous model. I do have an aesthetic preference for the previous style.The gap is the same as previous model, and has not interfered with use. It is a snug fit on my (Costco) Sonicare Protective Clean 5100 model.I repurchased these because they are much cheaper than the replacement heads at Costco, and the last batch worked well.

Great Compatibility

I have to agree with many other reviews these are better than The brand name. I use a Sonicare and these snap right and the bristles are awesome. Each tooth brush is individually wrapped and has a color change when due for a new one just like the over priced brand name brushes. Highly recommend. You can tell the company has good quality control standards and are not out to rob the consumer.
