I was skeptical but these actually work. My boot digs into my shin and this really helped to make for a much more enjoyable ski day. I stuck directly to my skin and had no irritation. Easy to remove at end of day and no residue. If you ski full days, maybe bring an extra set to change out. I only need it for one leg and typically only ski half days and the cushion was a little worn through by the time I left. Good solution if you aren't ready to buy new boots just yet!

These compressed into nothing. The foam behind the photo is bootfitters foam. The red stuff that is paper thin is this product. As a liner it does not work, it compresses completely.

These are neither neoprene nor memory foam. Not at all what I was hoping. Descriptions were inaccurate. These are just made from really hard foam similar to the Covey Sports Ski & Snowboard Shin Pads Guards. Almost an exact replica. And because they are so narrow and hard, they just added tons of pressure to my shin while skiing the few seconds I was actually able to get them to stay in place. I returned.
