It Doesn't spill at all!

This is a happy medium between a straw lover and a lid lover. I've always liked straws because I tend to make a mess with the open top containers but my husband likes the open top. These are a happy medium. Easy to drink out of yet no spills. It fits great on hydroflask bottles and is easy to clean. I've dropped it many times and it has never leaked on me!

I have went through probably 2-3 Bubba waterbottles because after ONE drop: the lids break.So finally broke down to search for just replacement lids. It took awhile to find what I wanted- mainly without a dang straw- and finally landed on this one.Came rather quick in the mail, and comes with TWO! Which is the biggest thing I probably liked most lol. The handle and build, looks and feels sturdy. I've had these for 2ish years now and can't say I have tested dropping it yet- since I just want to be careful lol- but they have stayed up well!Pro: Strong handle, and is in middle and not to the side so makes it easier to carry in balanced weight. The lid locks so if you do drop or it falls over, the water wont fall out if button is hit.Downside: the rubber *is* technically easy to clean, but also hard to clean. It tends to get that musky smell from sitting water only after 3-4 days, but it does pop off for simple clean, and pop back on!

Was tired of the factory ones, hate the straw thing.. Then tried a twist top that leaked every time you tipped it up to drink (which let me tell you, in the middle of the night when you go to take a sip and get cold water on your chest, makes for less then restful sleep the rest of the night!).This never leaks, easy to clean up and easy to take big gulps from.

Have owned this for 5 months now. It fits my hydroflask and does not leak. The only complaint I had initially was that the button to flip the lid open. You had to push it a little hard which made it difficult to use one handed. However, over time it has loosened up and functions better now.

The only reason why I gave them 3 stars is because these lids are not durable. I bought them in July 2023. They were great--had a locking mechanism, were spill-proof, and they used to pop open whenever I would unlock. However, the spring that would pop open the lid broke in December. Even without the spring, I could open and close the lid, but it would not be as convenient anymore.
