Great sound
These speakers sound great. The build quality is really good. The connectivity via Bluetooth can take a fair few seconds to connect, but they do always connect. Connection via the supplied rca cable is very good too.So far, i cant fault them. I bought them while they were on sale for about £82.50 rather than the normal price of £129.99. I think i got a bargain.

Good speakers, terrible documentation
Okay so I don't normally leave reviews because I'm lazy. But in the hopes that this spares some other poor soul from the abysmal documentation that comes with these, here we go...To pair with the Marley turntable:- Turn on speakers one by one- Wait until they announce that they're connected- Double tap the Bluetooth button on the turntable- They should now announce that they're pairedThese steps were nowhere in the provided documentation. Unless they were in the Chinese section? As for the speakers themselves... I'm happy with the quality. I'm by no means an audiophile but they look great, surprisingly bassy and powerful for their size and I'm very much enjoying listening to my records through them. Definitely an upgrade from my previous GPO setup. The voice announcements are a little too loud for my liking but that's a minor annoyance I can live with. The poor documentation really lets this down though and does make me somewhat bitter about the purchase. A little more care and thought could have made for a much better unboxing experience.

Great sound.
Great sound with my non-bluetooth record deck just through one speaker! Would sound amazing with both speakers but cannot seem to find a split lead to both speakers. Strangely Reggae sounds amazing through Marley speakers! Very happy.

Old tech, waste of money
Terrible speakers. The only positive thing i can say about them is that they look great but they dont work as intended. The connectivity is bad,and they are slow when you open them up and try to connect them . Waste of my money and my time

These speakers are AMAZING
I love these speakers so much, great sound,You can attach via cables or blu tooth to a record deck, I would love to have an option to adjust the treble and bass directly. They take a little getting used to, but once you’ve used them a few times it becomes second nature, the pairing of them to each other is done automatically, again you may need to assist this. One thing to be aware is the right speaker that is the removable one and is charged via a usb occasionally indicates it’s fully charged but will not turn on, you need to leave it over night, or for a day charging and it will work. As expected I love the fact that the chargeable speaker can be unplugged and moved into the garden or another part of the room. I could not recommend the speakers highly enough.

Nice little speakers but too many little annoyances :(
I really wanted to like these speakers, I really did. They were the perfect size for my small desk and the bamboo fascias were the perfect look to match the natural styling of my study. As the most expensive speakers I've ever bought I was hoping the price would translate into a great future. After first switching on the speakers they paired with each other within a few seconds.I first tried using the Bluetooth connectivity to play music from my phone. I'm no audiophile and was impressed with the sound quality. The sound was a little bassy but sounded good. Playing podcasts really highlighted how bassy the default sound is. These are marketed as turntable speakers so maybe music is meant to be the focus. I'm also aware I can change the sound profile within my phone but I've never had to before. The main reason for purchasing some bookshelf speakers was to upgrade the sound for my gaming PC. I was able to connect to the speakers using a 3.5mm headphone jack to RCA cable and was initially confused at how to get stereo sound out of them. When in Bluetooth mode the speakers operated wirelessly as a pair. When in Line-in mode they only gave sound on the left channel. The solution was to plug the right channel RCA cable into the second speaker. So much for being wireless! Not sure if this intentional or I just didn't follow the instructions very well and missed something.Speaking of instructions I thought the supplied pamphlet was very poor and crammed too much info into a tiny space. Chinese seemed to be the primary language although English labels were present. The PDF manual on the House of Marley website is far clearer.Operation was very fiddly. Switching between modes feels cumbersome. The feedback you do get, to tell you about pairing and power status, was way too loud too. You won't be using these late at night without waking everyone up. The auto off feature was a shock the first time it kicks in. I'd been listening to music but had stopped as it was late, Then about 10/15 minutes of silence later, i jumped out of my skin when both speakers announced they were powering off!The next morning I struggled to get them to pair with each other. Not sure what had changed but after not much usage it was enough to make me return them. These had far too may annoyances for me to stick with them. Sorry House of Marley, these are lovely but the interface lets it down.
