Cpu cooler
It works fine if you let the fan at full speed. Then it keeps the cpu nice and cool. I just wished the price was 20 like the others. These do have a weird bracket setup as the 1700 brackets that came installed didn't actually fit my 1700 cpu. I had to use the second largest and that worked perfectly.

Awesome low profile CPU cooler!
This is the best CPU cooler you’ll find for a Mini ITX/ATX build. Just remember to be careful with fingerprints! It can pickup your oils easily which isn’t bad, just a standard reminder when setting up a PC, installation and Fan is silent. And keeps my Ryzen 5 9600x running at 65C when running CPU intensive games

Great cooler
Great cooler. Colling my 7900x3d with no issues. Max temp around 60c

Fans is gross, switched it out works even better now
Fans trash and ugly as pie so I switched it out with a noctua fan (desert pink and tan), works much much nicer and looks cohesive. Great size, installation was a little tricky. The price ain’t too bad. It’s not the quietest even when the new fan but with the original it wasn’t the worst either. I ran it with the original to see if it was trash. I thought about painting it and putting it in my wife’s computer but it’ll run even slower then so the fan will be collecting dust until someone who doesn’t care about fans and optimal performance will need one.

Keeps my Ryzen 7 5800xt nice and cool
I have a mini itx with a Ryzen 7 5800xt & RTX 3070 and this cooler keeps my CPU temperature between 48 and 51 degrees under a FULL LOAD , also I used Corsairs XTM70 extreme performance thermal paste, it works really well !

Handles 9800X3D like a charm
After doing many careful researching, it came down to Noctua slim coolers vs this little guy. And I went with this brand/unit. Mind you, that I'm a Noctua product fan as I love their cooling fans. My CPU of choice is 9800X3D which is a concern since my PC case is pretty darn small and it was purchased for gaming.I've owned the 9800X3D with this cooler for about 6 months now and when I am gaming, CPU temp is usually in 60s and sometimes spikes to low 70 for a while. That to me is well within acceptable range since CPU temp can go upwards of 90s. For what it, how slim and much priced, I think this is one of the best.

meh... ok... sorta...
this cooler is being used on an asus Prime Q370M-C/CSM with a i9-9900k cpu. I bought this to do a simple build in a small form factor pc. I'm not overclocking or doing anything crazy. Just general workstation with the occasional movie conversions via handbrake. Again, i'm not doing anything crazy and wanted to stay as simple as possible whilst doing better than a stock intel cooler. The good: it has a low profile, quiet, and in use seems to be effective. The bad: the absolute WORST mounting solution imaginable, PERIOD! even someone with experience could damage their motherboard by over-torquing the mounting nuts. I can't even be certain i'm getting proper even contact with the cpu because the cooler stand-offs don't contact the board. it just kinda 'floats' on the cpu while being bolted to the board. and there really isn't any insulation between the metal backing plate and the traces of the motherboard, so that could theoretically cause issues.upon boot-up and going into the bios, my cpu was idling at around 95f, so it's doing something. I've gotta install the OS and try to see how well it'll do under use. I'm sure in that regard it's definitely more than adequate. I just don't believe saving the $20-$40 over a nactua or bequiet is worth potentially damaging important components like the motherboard. If you're not overclocking, i'd say you might as well save even more money and just use a stock intel cooler, otherwise pony-up and go with a more well-known enthusiast/professional brand like the aforementioned nactua or bequiet.update: this thing is terrible.. it might work if it had a good mounting solution so one could tighten it down properly without risk of damaging the other components, but..i installed linux mint on a i9-9900k based asus motherboard. i wanted to test out how well handbrake worked. not thinking anything of it i tried rendering a movie. it started out at a decent rate but within less than 2 minutes, the rendering fps were less than halved due to thermal throttling. the case is completely open. i felt around the underside of the cooler and the cpu was waaay too hot to the touch.so, i'm gonna try and send this back.. hope this helps someone make a decision

Punches above its weight class
I've purchased two of these. One is keeping an active 5900x cool in a mini itx case and the other is somehow keeping a non overclocked 9800x3d cool.If the full black nickle plated became available I would replace the gorgeous full copper with those just for looks. This product punches above its weight for sure.
