I wanted a monitor for travelling when out and about in hotels and such, to watch some movies and play simple games, as well as work. I also wanted 17" specifically because I find this the perfect size to have on a small desk where the screen will be close to you, which is generally the case in hotels. It's also easier for applications like Excel and such.The monitor itself is excellent quality and fulfills my needs exactly. Colours are rich, plenty bright (I don't have it full brightness). Easy to wipe clean, and the buttons on the ends are intuitive enough. I really like that there no intrusive branding on the bezel. Just a nice, simple black bezel. Nice.I didn't need to adjust any contrast or other such image settings, the standard is fine, but there options there if you would want.In the games I play I don't get the full 60 FPS, just because my laptop lets it down. But I'm sure with a half decent laptop, it will be fine.It came with all the cables I could possibly need, was well and efficiently packaged in a quality (thick) cardboard box, plus additional padding. Good thinking from the manufacturer there to minimize risk of damage in transit.The cover for the monitor itself is sturdy and the edges are slightly bigger than the monitor panel itself. I like this because it means any rubbing or knocks, or movement in my rucksack, will affect only the corners of the cover and not the edges of the panel. It just about fits in a 30l rucksack.All in all I'm very happy with all aspects and would highly recommend it.

I have only had the monitor for a couple of weeks - this is what I think of it so far.This is my first portable monitor - I have bought it to use both portably and to extend the desktop on my desk PC.I expected the portable monitor not to perform as well as my relatively new 27" monitor but I am genuinely impressed by the picture on the portable monitor, it's super sharp all I had to change was the brightness as the colour palette is perfect for me as is.I use it with the USB-C video input option, it all works seamlessly and there is no need for an additional power connection.I've used it portably as well. The cover that is provided makes a good stand but if you were genuinely wanting to protect the monitor when you are carting it about then a padded case would be a good addition.I have the monitor mounted on an arm using the VESA mount; if you plan to do this then you will probably need to add a counterweight to the arm as the monitor is very light (less than a kilogram). Clearly the light weight is highly desirable for a portable item such as this.There are cheaper options out there but my experience so far matches the glowing testimonials that this monitor has received.

My first portable monitor and i'm very impressed with the quality of it. The picture quality is excellent with a number of modes and settings to adjust as you wish. Setup was completely painless, just plugged in and it was recognised by my laptop immediately.It has a scratchproof cover with magnetic clasp which also doubles as a stand which is a handy addition (this wont protect against any major falls though).All in all very pleased. Only things I think could be a little better are the buttons on the side which have a slightly loose feel to them but these are minor gripes, the functionality is fine.

After a few 15" portable monitors, I decided to upgrade to a 17" in order to get more screen real estate when on the go, and also to match the 17" of my new Dell XPS 17 laptop. I didn't need touch as the Dell has touch support on the internal screen.The picture quality is great, I appreciate the full size HDMI input in addition to the power only and power+display USB-C, as well as mini-displayport. I don't use the USB ports, so I can't comment on that.I can use a single USB-C cable with one of my TB4 ports on the XSP 17 as long as I keep brightness low (1-3), anything above that you need a second power cable going to the USB-C power adaptor to provide the 15-18W that the monitor needs at full brightness. The screen also works fine with the TB3 ports of my MBP 13 2018.It comes with a foldable cover that does the job and can be used as a stand in a pinch, but I normally I use a Sirui portable stand with an Arnarkok holder to have the Cocopar screen above the laptop screen as that works best for me (the external screen is at eye height and centered, which is better for my neck).Cocopar's service is great! I had issues with a previous 15" monitor (the product was fine, it was just not compatible with my desktop) and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It definitely played a part in deciding to go for this 17". It's quite expensive, but it's worth the money, at least for my use. Highly recommended if you need a large portable screen that looks great. 17" over 15" is a significant difference, and at that screen size 4K is definitely a visible improvement over 1080p.

I develop Windows desktop graphical data solutions, so need to work with two screens most of the time, one for code and one for graphics. Therefore, I also need good resolution and clarity. So, I wanted a portable 17” monitor to travel with to fit in my backpack alongside my Dell Xps 17. This one from cocopar has given me all I asked for and more because it also connects via an adapter to my iPhone or iPad. It comes with a detachable cover that can be used as a stand, or a foldable portable stand is available. The usb-c connection between my laptop and monitor carries both data and power, which makes it super convenient when there is no power plug around. I recommend it.
