Fixed it. Code info here!
This motor fixed my 15 month old Maytag.Stopped working. Called Maytag and asked about the big Label on it that says 10 Years Parts Warranty. Yeah that only works if you buy there service policy that's $40. a month for a year. What a rip off. Called a local appliance guy he cleared the trouble code $60 bucks he split then the next wash failed again. I don't see any you tubes with this newer model number MVW4505MW. Guy came back said the trouble code said it needs a new control board. He wanted $500. Screw that. I went on ebay found a guy selling the brand new board for $100. Bought the board still no go. Lots of youtubes all saying there a high likelihood that its the transmission motor assy. I bought this one here and it fixed it. When you launch the service code there's a mode you can put this washer in to test it.Mine did this test: It filled with water then it immediately pumped out the water and threw a trouble code. That's it. Btw the code decode sheet is stuck in all new Maytag washers got to take the top off to get to it. Tells you how to turn on the service mode. Here's the service mode dance to bring the code up on these newer washers:Spin the center dial a couple of times slowly. Stop anywhere. Then turn once CCW. Then slowly turn CW 3 times. Then once CCW. Then once CW. All the lights will flash in unison. Then the second and third time they flash are the binary codes. You need to get the manual out to decode them but the codes were wrong on mine. Maytag makes a real piece of shit washer.Bottom line is no matter what it does buy this motor and install it its wicked easy 4 screws. Plop it on its face take off the motor dust cover two 1/4 inch screws then this motor has 2 Phillip screws. It probably will fix it it's a very high failure rate thing. Good Luck and never buy a Maytag product.

Elated with the outcome!
Researched this product before we bought it. Looked at th $20 model, and went with the upgraded $27 replacement actuator. Like most uncle Bezos goodies, we got it the day after we ordered it. Watched an 8 min. YouTube video. It took all of 8 minutes to take the old one out and put the new in. As recommended we reset the washer’s memory, and put a load in. For 19 months we had fought the washer stopping at the drain and spin and having to restart it each load. Went past that hiccup the first time thru. Thought we’d have to spend $300 on a service call. Instead $27.47. Extremely pleased!

Not as pictured
The picture shows a 4w motor. I think this one was 2.5. I bought this over others because I wanted the 4w to match the original hardware. It still works.
