Cooks amazing stews and casseroles
Sturdy cast iron dish for the oven. It will serve 4 to 6 people from the dish. I cook stews and casseroles in the oven in it, and it still looks brand new. I leave it out on show as it looks so good. Easy to clean and very sturdy. Would recommend 👌

Very Robust
It is very heavy. I used it first to roast a chicken in an itvwas too big to fit in my oven on the rack. I stood it on the base of the oven. The chicken was really beautifully cooked. Juicy and full of flavour. The dish cleaned very easily too. I am looking forward to using it on my hob next.I am pleased with it. Perhaps I bought one that is too big,(7ltr), but it will be fine.

Perfect
Perfect in everyway, the finish is flawless no dimples no pits at all. For the price I was expecting some imperfections but its perfect. The price is fantastic too for what you get. I ordered the sea salt 6.4 quart.

Nearly 5 Stars but the damaged outer packaging failed!
Great quality and well made with good thick enamel coating! There was slight damage to the outer packaging but thankfully no chips to the actual product.Reasonably priced compared to others in the marketplace.

Look and feel great
Great quality and the light green look stunning. Haven’t used yet. Heavy but look good, nice large handles. Replacing 20 year old tickle pink from Sainsbury’s. Hope they last the same. Bought two different sizes.

This Casserole Has Replaced My Frying Pan!
I bought this casserole dish when I saw an MSN article saying it was on offer on Amazon and an influencer recommended it - I didn't buy it on the strength of an influencer's say-so, by the way! Now I do have another casserole dish. I've had it for years and it's mostly been great (it was given to me years ago and structurally there's nothing wrong with it, it's just not as big as I'd like and sometimes the sauce inside overflows in the oven), so I decided to get this dish for a few reasons. Firstly, it's about double the size of my existing casserole dish, so there's plenty of room in it for whatever I'm cooking. Secondly, because it's enamelled cast iron, I can use it on the hob when I need to pre-cook things - for example, sealing chicken breasts before transferring to the oven and then put it straight into the oven to finish cooking. Thirdly, it cleans up really easily afterwards - I've only had one occasion where I needed a bit more elbow grease than usual to clean it up and that was because I added a fair bit of Balsamic vinegar into my cooking, and lastly, I was able to choose a colour that went with our kitchen (the dark blue one). I would say you can't go far wrong if you decide to buy this casserole dish, but you do have to treat it with respect and this is because the lip of the dish and lid are NOT enamelled. This means that if you leave it to soak overnight or don't dry it up as soon as you've washed it you could run the risk of rusting setting in, which will ruin it. There's an instruction booklet that comes with the dish and that's explained in there and I've seen a few reviews where people have given it a low star rating because they've said it's gone rusty, but I think that could be because they didn't read the instructions and treat it with proper care - if you feel you need to soak it please do be super careful to NOT leave it overnight and DON'T leave it to air-dry after washing up - I dry mine mine with kitchen roll (it's a me thing. I can't stand tea towels), making sure it's bone-dry and that there's no possible shredded bits of kitchen roll left on it, so there's no chance any dampness can be left on it. I love the size of this dish as well. Since buying and starting to use it there have been no instances of overboiling in the oven and I really can't recommend it enough, because if something is stopping us having to clean the oven because nothing bubbles over to dirty it, it can only be good, can't it? I cook for two of us, so the portion sizes I make are fine. Another thing I have to add here is that it has a fair bit of heft behind it and you could easily use it for home workouts if you don't have a barbell! Just don't do that with your food inside it!

Worth the money
Debated buying this or its more expensive counterpart. Having never used cast iron or anything like this, opted for this one. I’m glad I did - it’s great, I’ve cook beef bourguignon, chicken casserole and a rabbit stew. All done in this one pot and just put in the middle of the table to let people help themselves. I got the bigger one and it’s HEAVY, even when empty but I guess it should be yeah. I think this has converted me to cast iron cooking
